This is a hidden gem we found. The atmosphere was great, the inside of the restaurant was beautiful traven style. It seemed busy when we were there around 6pm. Waited a little bit to be seated and got the food we ordered. I felt like the food needs more to imrove, the chicken dumpings soup seemed salty and the haddock fried fish seemed simple with not much flavor. They seemed to have interesting alcohol menu, I would like to try next time. This place would be a nice to have a date or a good time with friends.

The food never disappoints, and neither does the atmosphere. The service is great too. We ordered the mozzarella sticks. They should be called the mozzarella bricks (see photo). The cheese pull was wild and the flavor was off the charts! I ordered the grilled cheese with Brie, blackberry jam, and thick cut bacon. 1000/10 would recommend. My husband got the haddock and fries and he enjoyed the all around crunch and taste of his meal. This is our third of fourth time here and it’s definitely not our last! We sat outside by the creek and we were surrounded by fall colors galore. Between the leaves gently falling, the water trickling in the creek, the slight breeze, and the comfort food, we found ourselves on the perfect fall date.

THE BAD:
-Sanitation grade of 83%, B.
-Crumbs & debris on floor under tables.
-Tried to order brisket omelet, but they were out of brisket. Then tried to order country fried steak, but they were out.
-We weren’t informed that they were out of several items, until after we tried to order those items. 3 different times.
-Waited about an hour for our food.
-Everything was barely warm.
-Ended up ordering eggs Benedict. Both orders, the egg whites were snotty/watery.
-Brie/blackberry French toast. French toast was tough, like it had been microwaved. Brie was cold and not melted at all.
-Chicken biscuit. Chicken was dry.
Manager explained that they have new kitchen staff. Hopefully they get things figured out.

When you pull up its pretty underwhelming. The inside is decent and aged. The staff was nice. We sat outside in the back and the nature around us was nice. Saw two turtles. The loaded tots were pretty good, a decent portion to be an appetizer. We tried the mill burger and the Carolina burger. They both were decent at best. I’ll have to try something different next time.

The Creekside Mill is such a gem! The setting is beautiful and relaxing, and the food is absolutely incredible. I stopped in for lunch and everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. You can tell they really care about quality and presentation. The service was just as great friendly, attentive, and fast without ever feeling rushed. Whether you’re just passing through or live nearby, Cedar Creek Mill is 100% worth the visit. Can’t wait to come back and try dinner next time!

Had a truly terrible experience. We were seated right away, ordered our drinks and appetizer. After 30 minutes we asked the waitress where it was, she checked and told us that it apparently didn’t go through and would we like them to “throw something together for us quickly”. We did not feel like paying for an appetizer that was 30 minutes late already, so we declined. Our food came out after 55 minutes, which was cold and without taste. My husbands country fried steak so soft and mushy, the breading was soggy. My fries and meal were cold and hard. Our waitress never came to check on us after we received our food. We will not be back, we had to go eat at chick fil a after our “meal” at this restaurant. Don’t waste your money!

The food was really good here. For starts we had pickle fries, the mill sangria and the Manhattan, and the spiked iced coffee. I got the shrimp basket and my boyfriend got the Philly cheesesteak, they were Soo good and cooked perfectly. The coleslaw had no flavor, honestly.
They were a little pricey but was really good. The atmosphere is nice and homey. The only thing is that Manhattan and iced coffee were incredibly overpriced for what was basically a mixed shot with lots of ice. Other than that, the service was great. Veronica was sweet and patient with us. I’ll definitely be coming back with my family, this place is gorgeous!

Great food and service! Nice, out of the hustle and bustle busy streets. Sitting near the creek. Glad we finally made it. Will most definitely be going more often! And my salted caramel cheesecake was DELICIOUS! Should have bought two pieces.

Made a reservation for 4 people for 7pm on a Friday night. The table was ready when we got there and were seated right away. The waitress was friendly and food came out quick. The atmosphere overlooking the creek was great! We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip, southern hamburger, fish and chips, and fish sandwich. All the food was good.
