Staff was friendly. Ordered meat, agg and cheese for $8 on the menu. Asked for bagel on the side, mix up the eggs, cheese, meat like a scramble, spk. I got 4 slices of taylor ham over eggs, no cheese, no spk, and was charged for an omelette, that’s $2 more. Wth? $14.53 for a coffee, 2 eggs and 4 slices of taylor ham. I had ketchup packets in my car and chop sticks, I wasn’t given napkins or untensils.

My usual go to is Lakeside, but for whatever reason they were closed this morning, so I decided to try 5B. For starters, I walked in and there were 2 girls in front of me who were together. They ordered, and I was next. They weren’t overly busy, but I stood there waiting and ignored for close to 10 min. Another man walked in behind me. The person taking orders literally looked at that man past me and said I’ll be right with you. I’m about ready to leave at this point, and I wish I did. Of course, the woman again ignores me and goes to help the man behind me. Naturally I step in and make the point I’ve stood there 10 min and been ignored and I’m next. Definitely wasn’t happy. Moving onto the food. I ordered turkey egg and cheese on a wheat bagel, and a western omelette for my husband. Sandwich was not good. Eggs were overcooked, and there was barely any turkey or cheese on it. The omelette was also overcooked and not neatly prepared as pictured.

Wow what a great Sandwich. I had a bagel with Sliced lox and cream cheese. The bagel itself was delicious the quality of the salmon and the flavor was so good.

Would give zero stars if I could. Called to place a pick up order . Wanted to pay over the phone so my mom (on Mother’s Day) wouldn’t have to pay when she picked up. I called FOUR times and no one would take my money. I kept being told they were too busy. Completely ridiculous and the WORST customer service and rudest people . Told them To cancel my Order and will never be back. Unfortunate because it local and convenient.

I have been within the bagel industry for an accumulated experience of 10+ years. I am not one to write reviews but this by far was one of the worst experiences I have ever had.
I have never seen a bagel shop owner that stands face to face with the customer and doesn’t greet them nor the ability to ask if there is anything they can do to help assist. Standing there silent in front of a POS system knowing that we have been standing there for at least 3-5 minutes before one of his employees stepped in and saved the experience. To have the employee set the standard above the owner is enough to say on its own.
I would’ve gave 0 stars if google allowed me too, but thanks to his super star counter worker who was friendly, kind, and personable has earned the single star that I am willing to give. If you’re in the area there are a lot of other better bagel stops; do yourself a favor and save your patronage for a store owner that actually values their customers.

Ordered delivery a few times and it’s been great! The Italian sub is done perfectly and they definitely don’t skimp on the meat. German potato salad is awesome. Strawberry banana smoothie is so fresh and delicious!

Bagels were so soft and fresh. Shop clean and orderly. Coffee was one of the better cups I’ve had in a while. Owner/workers polite and kind to my daughter. Nice to not travel out to 23 or the shopping center.
