If you are looking for a Filipino restaurant based on the “home-cooked taste” criteria, you’re looking for more than just a menu—you’re looking for a specific feeling. It’s about flavors that remind you of family gatherings, generous portions, and a sense of warmth and comfort. It’s here at Toppings Tree. I craved for tortang talong, which isn’t in their menu, I asked for it and tadahhhh…craving satisfied.

For those unfamiliar with Filipino food, you can’t go wrong with whatever you order. The food presentation was better than most, actually appetizing. The service is prompt and friendly.
For those discriminating Filipino food taste buds, better eat somewhere else. Meaning the flavors and distinctive taste are not there.

Dad was craving Filipino, we liked the sister restaurant in Union City. They have a generous serving size. We ordered lechon kawali, a little dry and overcooked. Pancit palabok was bihon noodle, tasty. Dinuguan was a little watery, needed a bit more vinegar. I expected a little more variety in an acharra other than just carrots. Shanghai lumpia was ok. Service was nice. PS the dinuguan was tastier the next day as leftover, the flavors come out.

I visited this restaurant over the weekend. The food was really good and they had a lot of options! The serving sizes were very generous and I ended up taking home a lot of leftovers. The service was good and the food came out pretty quickly!!

The cleanliness could be a bit better though, the tables felt a little sticky and it was pretty warm inside since there’s no AC, only fans. Luckily, it wasn’t too crowded when I went, so it wasn’t totally unbearable.

I’ll be back!

Had an in person Togo order. I asked for no shrimp in the pancit and they still made it with shrimp! When I ordered “no shrimp” they did not indicate that it could not be made without shrimp. I am allergic to shrimp and I ate it expecting it to not have shrimp since that is what I ordered. Had a reaction! If you cannot provide dishes without these allergens, it is your responsibility to notify the customer when they order. Do better. We will not return due to your neglect and disregard for food safety.

This was the best Filipino food I’ve ever had in my life. The milkfish sisig nearly made my Filipino boyfriend cry because it was so good (he says he’s “OA”). Huge portions, good portions, and friendly staff. The restaurant interior is not the newest or trendiest but I’m telling you the food. Is. Worth. It!!!!!

Go here for Crispy Pata A la Carte, very delicious crispy exterior, juicy meat inside, just delicious, fresh, hot and huge!

Garlic Bok Choy was also delicious, crunchy bok choy in garlicky, soy sauce dressing, so so good!

The Daing na Bangus (grilled milkfish) A la Carte was tasty (and huge) but was quite fishy, it came with 2 small containers of distilled white vinegar to dip the fish in to help with the fishiness which it did but we wouldn’t order this dish again. We’re more used to grilled sole or flounder.

2 side orders of White Rice was also a lot of rice!

People who work here are so wonderful, very happy to have discovered this restaurant on recommendation from a trio of Filipino ladies we ran into the other day, thank you to them also for the recommendation of the Crispy Pata at this restaurant!

Note; Their sign says Mon – Wed is to-go orders only.

Our go-to neighborhood Filipino spot! Our must haves are the grilled tocino, lechon, chicken sinangag, pancit bihon and lumpiang. This order lasts us 2 meals. We often order to go and pickup is always timely and staff is welcoming.
