I went to this Dairy Queen around 10pm for a fabulous Reese’s peanut buttercup blizzard. Unfortunately I was denied my blizzard because they wanted to clean the machine. Now working in costumer service for 6 years. I know costumer always comes first espically when you want your business to make money. Therefore I’m pretty annoyed that the one thing dairy queen is actually known for (the blizzards) I was denied it.

Unfriendly and unaccommodating to customer requests. Asked if they could make a Banana Split Blizzard and the girl said no, only the Blizzards listed on the menu. I asked if the Hawaiian Blizzard was still available and she didn’t know what it was. I asked what was on the Blizzard menu and she mumbled/rattled off 5 items before moving on to the next customer. As I walked away, I heard someone from behind her ask what was that about and she said the customer didn’t know what he wanted.
Went to the Absecon DQ and the very friendly young lady was happy to make the Banana Split Blizzard.

We were the first customers all day. Girls at counter were great very nice! People pulled in as soon as we ordered. Great place for the family very reasonably priced. Just what I was looking for. Go out and a cone or a sundea when you are on the island. And don’t forget to tip the girls!

This DQ has the usual menu items, however it’s cash only, and we did notice some items weren’t as expected: like a peanut butter “Blizzard” that just has the sauce on top like a sundae, not mixed in as is usual for this treat. That’s not as good.

Arrived at 9:45 p.m. they almost didn’t take us even though they close at 10:00 p.m. The worker at the window said “I just wanna go home” she then told us we couldn’t order a blizzard as they were closing and then took the guy behind us who arrived after us then ordered a blizzard and she made him one.
