I have checked the good review about this restaurant. The pricing of the food basically the quality you’re getting. Quite cheap, $15 for his grilled lemongrass chicken with rice. If you like it cheap, this is good. The food isn’t as WOW, the lemongrass chicken portion is okay, got very lemongrass flavour, however I ordered grilled lemongrass chicken, which it had nothing grilled or even smelled like it. The portion is decent, even I can finish the 90% of the dish, rarely for me. The services there is expected, with only one server in the restaurant, she is taking ordering, cleaning, bills and serving alone. The entrance a little hard to spot on with a cafe beside, it is on the second floor, the entrance carpet is quite dirty. Maybe noodle soup is something to go for I guess, since most posts are noodle soup instead of rice.

This place deserves more attention than it gets. It’s easy to miss if you’re not watching for the front sign, but there’s also a back entrance if you need it. Inside, it has a friendly, mom‑and‑pop feel with a bright, open dining room.

I ordered the Bún bò Huế—wasn’t top‑tier, but it was solid for the price, with a decent portion. Overall, very affordable compared to other spots I’ve tried. Service was quick and the (lady) owner was genuinely kind and attentive.

I’d come back to try other Vietnamese favorites like cơm tấm and phở. Small sign, big value.

Can’t go wrong with the classic house special. Food came to the table fairly quickly. At first I was a bit taken aback because I was the only one at the restaurant at 3pm, wasn’t expecting much, but the food cleared all my doubts. Broth was hearty and tasty. Only reason I’m taking 1 star away is because the meat cuts were too thick for pho, other than that it had great flavor profile.

If you are looking for a pho place with big portion, quick, delicious, comforting and affordable. $13 for a large house special. This is the place. Parking at the back.

Nifty well-managed Vietnamese restaurant that resides on the 2nd floor of two story commercial units… blink and you’d miss it. Thankfully, this establishment has been well received over the years and the word of mouth has been widespread, allowing the place to thrive!

I got Hue’s spicy noodle soup, along with the Vietnamese spring rolls. The soup has a rich, flavourful broth with generous chunks of meat. Service was great and attentive, and weirdly enough the view over Burnaby Hastings from the window seating was somewhat pleasing.

I look forward to visiting again and checking out more of the menu.

Thoroughly recommend for fans of Vietnamese!

I lived in Vietnam for a few years, so I was very happy to find this place- it just felt like being back home.

The lady in the front is very nice and always makes sure you have what you need. The portions are very large for the prices and the food is amazing, it feels authentic.

I’ve been there two times and hope to come back many more! Totally recommend it.

Met up with friends for Saturday night dinner. Very reasonable mom-and-pop style Vietnamese restaurant. They are located on the second floor and their main door is literally a single door so don’t miss it! I got the pork chop and chicken rice dish. The portion was just right (the chicken was a bit too salty) would come back again and try other dishes

Pretty good affordable pho.

Came in at closing and the lady still let us in. Pretty decent meal for what you pay for. Not the best Viet food I’ve had, but this was decent. I’ll be back.

I’m reviewing only the pho.

First, the noodles felt a bit clumpy and weren’t very enjoyable. The broth was too thin, with what seemed like a higher water ratio than at other places. After eating, I noticed a lingering taste that seemed heavily influenced by MSG.

In terms of price, it could be considered affordable for a meal. However, given the quality, I wouldn’t say it’s particularly cheap, especially since there was very little meat included.

As for the service, I’d rather not comment.

I’ve only tried the pho a few times here, so I can’t speak for their rice or fried dishes.

Comfortable clean and welcoming restaurant. Pho soup was pretty well flavored but lemon grass chicken, although tender and nice lemongrass flavour, didn’t have that roasted charred caramelized texture that adds flavor. Vermicelli bowl with pork was also good but also lacked that roasted taste. Missed toasted onions as a garnish and red chili in the fish sauce dip.
