We took the Bolognese Pasta and the Scallop and Mushroom Risotto. The scallops were chewy. The Bolognese Pasta were good and the arancini appetizer were excellent. The bread on the side was dry. Staff was friendly and professional. I would recommend but I think is a bit expensive for the overall experience.

Great spot in Dupont Circle! The vibe was nice with good music and cozy lighting. Richard was our server and he was fantastic — super friendly and always checking in. I had the pesto pasta with shrimp and it was delicious. Definitely recommend and would come back!

I really enjoyed the food and ambience here. Low lit with table lighting that was inviting. Food was freshly prepared featuring homemade pasta, sauce, and bread. Drinks were fun and matched the vibe. Service had hiccups but was friendly and good. Prices were mildly upscale but matched the quality of food. Family friendly for well behaved kids. Overall a nice Italian place that I will enjoy anytime I’m in DC.

Pulled up to Rosemarino d’Italia on Friday night with three friends for a late-night dinner + R&B set and honestly… it was a vibe. The space is quaint but still gives romantic energy — cozy, intimate, and definitely cute enough for pictures.

The late-night menu is what really won me over. Being able to order real food until 11:30 PM is clutch. The R&B playing at night set the mood perfectly and made it feel like a chill dinner party instead of just another restaurant.

We ordered the pesto pasta (which should be a vegan sauce) and the lasagna, and everyone enjoyed their food — no complaints at all. Parking can be hit or miss, so keep that in mind.

Overall, we had a great time and I’d definitely go back.

I thoroughly enjoyed the arancini, garlic bread, and saltimbocca. The latter was genuinely one of the best things I’ve eaten in recent memory.

Two complaints. Firstly, it’s almost pitch black in the restaurant making it really hard to see the surroundings. That may be the ambiance they’re going for, but I didn’t like it. Also, my friend didn’t like that our server just brought us the check without asking whether or not we wanted dessert or anything else. He cited his shift being almost over which I thought was unprofessional.

Service and staff were welcoming and professional. We ordered some special cocktails that were refreshing. We got the garlic bread which was disappointing. But the chicken Parmesan and pasta were wonderful, fresh and tasty. Their red sauce is definitely traditional and bold. Chicken was fresh and the breading was not overpowering.

We went here because it was close enough to where we’re staying and had good reviews. It truly didn’t disappoint. Everything tasted homemade and fresh. The olive oil for the bread was perfect and tasty. The spicy sauce with the aricini had a bit of heat but not enough to deter anyone but still plenty of flavor.

The Berry the Mule drink is one of the best cocktails I’ve had. If you like gin and a bit of tart, you need it in your life.

I stuck with a favorite of fettuccine Alfredo and it didn’t disappoint. It was flavorful and rich without being overwhelming. My companion got the Rosemarino and it was cooked perfectly. Again, the sauce was perfect. The texture of the pasta was great, bite and chew without being under or over cooked.

We would definitely recommend and would go back if in the area.

What an amazing place! We were there for dinner on a weekend, and from the very beginning, as we walked in, it was a wonderful experience. The staff was so helpful and nice. Ambiance and music were great (I wish I took more photos of the place)… and the pasta was just beyond delicious. Everything tasted fresh and delicious (the bread was ). There is nothing better than homemade pasta ❤️
We absolutely loved everything. Oh, and for dessert, we got the tiramisu!
100% recommend this place

Overall it was good!

There was a gap when it came to service, but the one to two people who were taking care of EVERYTHING were always busy bartending, seating people, serving people, bussing tables, etc.

All of the food looked very good. I got the veal Parmasean, and whilenit was pretty good, it was dry and tasted over-fried.

Other people got the chicken parmesean, lasagna, chicken marsala, carbonate, and risotto.

However, the most expensive dish we got was…. Spaghetti and Meatballs. Yes, the most basic Italian dish was more expensive than the Veal Parmasean.

Everyone enjoyed their food, and pretty sure there were empty plates all around.

Got Happy Hour with my girl friends on Monday and Xander the bartender was amazing! We watched him handcraft (like was grating fresh candy cane on my Polar Espresso Martini…. ) each cocktail, he checked on us, told us a little more about special things he’s come up with (eggnog cold foam!) & was dressed in holiday spirit.
It was a great stop on our girls’ day out christmas adventure in DC. Thank you guys!
