Social Profile:

Launched in Spring 2021, Eleventh Street Pizza is the brainchild of David Foulquier, a native New Yorker, and his partner Danielle Hultman. The concept brings to life David’s nostalgia for the pizza he grew up eating in NYC. The baking process starts with a sourdough mother that has been nurtured for seven years, fermented for 48-hours and then hand-pulled and hand-tossed to form round crisp pies and two styles of square pies made with local and organic ingredients whenever possible.

Editing review: I knocked down one star since the last three times I’ve been here the pizza has been inconsistent. (I’ve been here numerous times!) We usually order two pizza and one is burnt and the other is okay. This went from being my favorite place to being a place I’m hesitant to eat at. See photos attached. I’ll give it two more tries before giving up completely.

Original Review: I’m shocked this place only has 4.1 stars. I haven’t tried the Sicilian pizza (although pictured) but the NYC style is hands down the best pizza in Miami. And I’ve tried a lot of places. The ingredients are quality ingredients. The sourdough is delicious. This is my second time at Eleventh St and will continue coming.

The prices are a bit high for a sit down hole in the wall restaurant, sure, I’ll give other reviewers that. It’s definitely not in a nice side of town and the place is whatever. I still like this place and for now will continue going and recommending it to others. I’ll update my review if anything changes.

Wow, the pizza is so delicious and the staff is so friendly. I’m on a journey to find the top 10 New York style pizzas in Miami and this one ranks #1 so far!

Have been here 3xs over past year.

1st time was epic bc the pepperoni sicilian was just unreal so i ordered one of everything and most other stuff esp garlic knots was just overpriced meh.

The 2nd time was abysmal with tons of thick nasty cheese and undercooked dough. The guy apologized after i said it was totally disgusting and said they had a new pizza guy. Offered to remake but i just wanted to puke so i left.

Both times were the most expensive pizza experiences i’d had. Really very expensive for pizza even for miami where everything is priced at anomalously high price points.

3rd time? 1245pm today 6mos after my last terrible experience. Door locked but people eating inside. Girl comes to open door and says that they’re closed bc she was there alone. She was very nice but this was the time I’d try to let them make up for the last time i was there.

My take is as follows:
1) erratic food quality
2) the price point gives them no margin for error yet 2/3 of the time, they foul something up

Try it if you like but the value proposition is way off bc off the outrageous price point and the swings in quality

And with my niece before a Heat game. What a fantastic little find in Dwntwn Miami!! Pizza by the slice, beer on tap, and great rock-n-roll tunes. They have pepperoni with hot honey that is absolutely delicious. Felt like I was at a neighborhood pizza joint in Jersey. A must try!!

Ordered the Brooklyn Cheese Sicilian for takeaway. I am not a pizza snob in any way but focaccia and cheese is pretty far from my expectation. Tasty but just not for me and well below in my opinion a decent simple traditional pizza (albeit maybe from outside of Florida, 1 year here and food consistently does not compare well to other cities in the US).

Wanted to love this, but for me it was a solid mid. I don’t think it’s a lost cause. The hot honey pepperoni hit different. I loved the salty sweet flavor combo. The wild mushroom was also good. The flavors were there, but the slices I had were kind of dry, and were not warmed up hot enough.

I came by in July during the day, and the place was deserted. I bet if I came by in the evenings when there is heavy traffic and fresh pizza it would be a different story. I definitely want to come back sometime and give it another go on a busy weekend, and maybe order a full pie next time.

The staff was excellent. Everyone was super friendly.

The place is super hard to find in the daytime, and area looks half deserted.

This is by far the closest I’ve ever had to NY style pizza that I’ve ever had down here. Absolutely incredible cheese pizza as well as their famous hot honey pepperoni! The owner is passionate about the artistic craft of his pizza and it shows!

Was very hopeful for this pizza after seeing numerous reviews and lists. As I looked at the top of the pie, I was very excited. Looked great! The flavor profile of the sauce and cheese was very good, but things went downhill with a totally floppy and massively undercooked bottom. The crust looked good but the overall bake was WAY OFF. The counter woman was very friendly and inviting, but it seems the pizza making staff was NOT the A-team on my visit. Any inspection of the underside by an experienced baker would have revealed this unacceptable outcome. The expectation is that a place with accolades must produce consistency. The single slice picture was one of the more cooked examples. The consumed slices had far less doneness.

I liked this spot better than Miami slice. It’s definitely more of a laid back environment, but the plain slice had better flavor, but not as charred crust as I would like. This would be my go to spot if I lived here

Square slices are good especially the hot honey pepperoni. That is a great slice. The classic cheese slice was not very good. So thin and floppy it fell apart in my hand. $23 and change for 3 slices. Not a great deal when you’re from ny and can get an entire pie that is better for less but that’s Miami for ya. Can’t really blame the pizza place.
