Launched in Spring 2021, Eleventh Street Pizza is the brainchild of David Foulquier, a native New Yorker, and his partner Danielle Hultman. The concept brings to life David’s nostalgia for the pizza he grew up eating in NYC. The baking process starts with a sourdough mother that has been nurtured for seven years, fermented for 48-hours and then hand-pulled and hand-tossed to form round crisp pies and two styles of square pies made with local and organic ingredients whenever possible.

Original Review: I’m shocked this place only has 4.1 stars. I haven’t tried the Sicilian pizza (although pictured) but the NYC style is hands down the best pizza in Miami. And I’ve tried a lot of places. The ingredients are quality ingredients. The sourdough is delicious. This is my second time at Eleventh St and will continue coming.
The prices are a bit high for a sit down hole in the wall restaurant, sure, I’ll give other reviewers that. It’s definitely not in a nice side of town and the place is whatever. I still like this place and for now will continue going and recommending it to others. I’ll update my review if anything changes.
1st time was epic bc the pepperoni sicilian was just unreal so i ordered one of everything and most other stuff esp garlic knots was just overpriced meh.
The 2nd time was abysmal with tons of thick nasty cheese and undercooked dough. The guy apologized after i said it was totally disgusting and said they had a new pizza guy. Offered to remake but i just wanted to puke so i left.
Both times were the most expensive pizza experiences i’d had. Really very expensive for pizza even for miami where everything is priced at anomalously high price points.
3rd time? 1245pm today 6mos after my last terrible experience. Door locked but people eating inside. Girl comes to open door and says that they’re closed bc she was there alone. She was very nice but this was the time I’d try to let them make up for the last time i was there.
My take is as follows:
1) erratic food quality
2) the price point gives them no margin for error yet 2/3 of the time, they foul something up
Try it if you like but the value proposition is way off bc off the outrageous price point and the swings in quality
I came by in July during the day, and the place was deserted. I bet if I came by in the evenings when there is heavy traffic and fresh pizza it would be a different story. I definitely want to come back sometime and give it another go on a busy weekend, and maybe order a full pie next time.
The staff was excellent. Everyone was super friendly.
The place is super hard to find in the daytime, and area looks half deserted.
