So good that we visited twice while visiting the area. The food was really, really good. The chicken was just ok, but the burgers were amazing. The show stealer was the Mansfield Philly. The sandwich was huge and stuffed full of meat and good flavor. It was hands down the best thing on the menu!

Traveling on the highway and googled food near me and Horseshoe Burger Company came up. It sounded interesting so we decided to give it a try. We are so happy we did!

I was really hoping for better quality given all the prior rave reviews. First the good. Looks nice and they obviously spent some money on the interior. Our waitress was polite, helpful and efficent. The bad. We ordered burgers, fries and the Onion rings and pepsi. I had hoped that a place marketing its self as a burger joint would use fresh products, it became quickly obvious that everything is frozen. The fries obviously came from a bag and you can see from the picture I must have gotten the bottom of the bag because they were mostly small overly fried bits of potato. I don’t know why a burger joint that only offers three sides would not do fresh cut fries. The Onion rings were super mushy on the inside while the outside was cooked. I had the melt. They advertise angus beef and it might be but the patties looked like premade frozen patties. The other person with me had the pineapple burger. The bacon on the burger was fatty and undercooked. If your going to put bacon on a sandwich it should be crispy. The burgers were fine if not overly salty. The highlight of the food was the dipping sauce provided with the onion rings, some kind of bbq-esque sauce that I enjoyed. Over all two of us had a small meal and paid $48 with a tip. That’s pretty pricey given the quality of the products.

I was going to update this review a little bit because i dealt with a lot better staff yesterday than i had previously. And then i noticed that the owner claims my previous bad experience was due to him “cutting me off” sir that was not true and if that is what you would like to claim i only ask why would that have anything to do with you not giving me my food. You have went through so many staff members because you treat them worse than your customers. I’ve been here several times and today is the first time that I had to directly deal with the owner. He is terrible. He has no hospitality. They don’t really care about their customers. Someone comes in and they act like they want to help serve them and then 10 minutes they act like you don’t exist. I ordered food and five people that ordered their food after me received their food first. I’m not picky. I don’t expect things to be perfect. But the owner himself was rude and very disappointing

We tried to give this place one last shot after hearing that the owner had “listened to feedback.”
What a mistake that was.
After getting our drinks and saying “I’ll be right back” it took our waitress over 15 minutes to ask for our order. I understand that stuff happens and she had other things to do, but what’s more important than serving your guests? Kegs, apparently. Would it really have taken that long to take our order and then attend to the keg?
If that wasn’t bad enough, my food was mediocre. The appetizer came after the entrees, my fries were burnt, (again) and the “burger” had very little meat and tasted bland.
Instead of owning up to any mistakes or even apologizing, our waitress decided to feed us excuse after excuse. This is not how anyone in customer service should behave. Had we been rude and nasty to her, I could understand forgoing an apology, but as my dad and me have both worked customer service all our lives, we know better than this.
The owner here runs a joke of an establishment and if you value your time and money, I couldn’t suggest to you a worse place to eat.
Oh, and to add insult to injury, instead of owning up to wrongdoings, the owner will happily push any and all blame on to the customers he claims to serve.
If you want to give your money to an ignorant, narcissistic egomaniac who thinks he can do no wrong, you found the right place!

Found this place by pure accident. Def will NOT be my last visit. Flavor: on point. Serving size: Wow . Clean. Friendly staff. Ordered was a classic cheeseburger w their Mac n cheese. Mansfield Philly w jalapenos added and fries. Loaded tots as an appetizer. I got a side of the ghost pepper wing sauce for my fries. Literally the best ghost pepper sauce I have ever eaten and that is saying TONS. One place that should be visited for sure. I’m lucky it’s on 30 mins from me.

No better place in the area to get burgers and fries. Period.
Edit: This place used to be excellent. Used to get great service and food to die for. But after that the last several experiences have been pretty awful. We had one waitress who seemed to be too busy chatting it up to give us timely service. And just yesterday we went there and it wasn’t good at all. The Mac and cheese bites managed to have corn dog bites mixed in somehow. My wife’s grilled cheese was basically like toast with minimal cheese and some tomato and what passed as bacon. And our drinks (when the waitress bothered to bring them) got more flat and watery as the meal went on. They only took off half for the sandwich when we said something. I don’t think I’ll return again for quite some time… If at all.

With incredible burgers, buns toasted to perfection, generous fry portions (best tasting fries ever btw), very fast/friendly service, and actually reasonable prices .. you have ZERO reason to not eat here for dinner tonight!! 10/10 WILL DEFINITELY be eating here more often!
Update: I’ve eaten here with my dad every Saturday for a few months now and in the last few months, this place has absolutely gone down the tubes. The food comes out slower and worse and you’re lucky if anybody checks on you after 45 minutes. They’re far more interested in chatting, being on their phones, and taking smoke breaks.
If you want your food to come out at a reasonable time and don’t want to be thirsty the entire meal, do not come here. Photo below is of fries the kitchen and waitstaff considered acceptable.

I enjoyed the atmosphere. Decent beer/liquor selection. The bar seating is really nice, although the TV’s behind the bar only played their menu ads. You have to turn around or look across the room to see the TV’s with games on.
The burger….not so great. I just got the regular burger. Kinda dry and my cheese was cold. My BF got the Baker Dangerous burger and that was a bit better. The Mac and cheese was basically just noodles in milk and cold cheese on top….not sure what happened with that.
I would probably only go back for a few drinks. But not for the food. Possibly it was a bad day, but by my experience was not the best.
