I came for the first time for dinner on Sunday and it was the best vibe. Nice music and the food was freshly prepared. They have the most delicious tuna and salmon crispy rice!! all of the food that came out on the boats was delicious plus i had the best service with my server Anabella! cant wait to come back

The concept isn’t new. Conveyor belt sushi with plates floating around has been done before. That said, Sushi Lucy executes it well. The ambience is great, with proper lighting, clean surroundings, and a much more polished feel compared to similar places.

The sushi was okay, but not impressive for the price point, especially considering the color-coded plates. I’ve been to other spots with similar pricing and noticeably better quality. The value proposition doesn’t fully land.

That said, this is a good place for light eaters or anyone not looking to go all-in on quantity or premium cuts. It’s also a nice spot for casual conversation or even dining solo without feeling rushed or out of place.

The staff deserves credit. Very welcoming, attentive, and genuinely pleasant, which helps the overall experience.

Pros: Clean space, good ambience, friendly staff
Cons: Sushi quality doesn’t quite match the pricing

Overall, not a destination sushi spot, but a solid option for a relaxed, casual dinner.

Disappointing experience – Empty boats and no variety

I was really looking forward to dining here, but the experience was a huge letdown. While the staff wasn’t rude, the ‘conveyor belt’ concept was completely non-existent during our visit. From the moment we sat down until we left, the boats were almost entirely empty.

To make matters worse, the few items they did put out were repetitive and lacked any variety. It felt like they were only sending out the same basic options instead of a proper sushi selection.

If you’re coming for the kaiten experience, don’t bother. Very disappointing for the price.

We had a great experience! The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and everything we tried was delicious. We went on a Saturday night and were seated quickly, which was a pleasant surprise. It was a fun and unique way to try different rolls as they came around. Highly recommend!

It’s not living up to the hype. Sushi quality is good. It’s pricey and service is not prepared for a full restaurant. They will probably get better with time. For now I would not go back and return to Katana. Where you might have to wait for a seat but once you are seated they are fast, attentive and the food : price relation is on point.
To say something nice. Their beer selection and also serving it ice cold in a cold glass was the best of the night. So I still went home happy!

Cute little sushi restaurant with boats that float past you on a small waterway.

I came here for the first time for lunch with my sons. We had a lot of great sushi plates! One of my sons had the miso soup. I had a glass of wine. My other son had a Ramune.

The sushi was very fresh and tasty. We really enjoyed it. The bill was about $100 for the three of us. Not bad for such a quality restaurant.

I would definitely return and recommend it to anyone who loves sushi.

I WAS LED ASTRAY BY LUCY! Today was my anniversary and I thought this place would be an awesome way for me and my boyfriend to have a new experience and enjoy sushi on our date night. When we were seated and the price per plate and corresponding color was explained to us me and my man were hype. It seemed very affordable and exciting but by the second plate we realized that the portions were deceptively small and were not satiating. The more we had to keep ordering the less full we seemed to be and managed to still end up spending 80$ and left hungry. In addition I wasn’t truly impressed by the quality of the food either. Overall we will not be returning to Sushi Lucy because while it seems extremely reasonably priced the portions make it an expensive trick.

I think the main problem with this place is the prices. How is seaweed salad alone $7.50, the same price as some of the sushi rolls? They also lack a variety of foods being placed on the boats there should be dumplings, deserts, etc. there’s only some basic sushi rolls and seaweed salad cause who would pay that much for that honestly. Staff was nice but food was also just not even that good for the price and only 5 pieces for $10 sushi

Sushi Lucy in North Miami exceeded our expectations! The freshness of the sushi was unparalleled, and the tranquil atmosphere made it a delightful experience, even with kids.

Some of our favs were the Teriyaki Salmon Bowl and the delicious Spicy Crispy Tuna So yummy!

The innovative concept of sushi boats delivering to your table added a fun element to our meal. The service was exceptional, making our culinary experience truly enjoyable. A big thank you to Sushi Lucy for a delicious and memorable dining experience! Highly recommended.

I was really excited to try this conveyor belt sushi spot after seeing some cute pictures, but my experience was pretty disappointing.

It took about 20 minutes just to get seated, and once we did, I ordered a green tea, water, and a JB Tempura roll. When I asked if they could remove the avocado, the waitress said it wasn’t possible since the rolls are premade and fried. I figured I could just pick it out, but when it arrived, it was literally just avocado and salmon—no cream cheese. So, I didn’t eat it and ended up ordering a basic salmon and cream cheese roll instead, which was disappointing since it wasn’t what I originally wanted.

The portions were tiny—shockingly small for the price. I’ve been to plenty of better sushi spots that give you way more for your money. And to top it off, I never even got my green tea or water, despite sitting at the table for over an hour.

On the plus side, the waitress was nice and friendly, but that’s about the only good thing I can say. If you’re looking for good sushi with reasonable portions, I’d recommend going somewhere else.
