Our incredible curries come in many varieties of colours and flavours. We blend hot Sri Lankan spices with cloves, cardamoms, nutmegs and peppers which are found in abundance throughout Kandy and Matale Districts of the central region of Sri Lanka. The basis for some of our delicious desserts include Curd, treacle, sweet meats, rice flour, palm treacle and jaggery accompanied by a variety of fruits.

There’s a real homely feeling about the place that you don’t usually get. The food was spot on and tasted exactly how it should, no cutting corners at all. Plus, the staff are dead sound; they actually look after you.
If you’re in Manchester and want something high quality and authentic Ceylonese, definitely give it a go. 10/10, will definitely be back.
There is some street parking near the restaurant but probably best to use the carpark near the train station or near the M&S food hall.
Friendly service and great atmosphere.
The food here is phenomenal—every dish is bursting with flavor and feels incredibly authentic. Chef Dahanaka’s expertise is evident in every bite. A special shoutout to Anil and Lahiru for their outstanding hospitality; they made our dining experience even more enjoyable with their friendly and professional service.
If you’re looking for a must-try restaurant, Sigiriya is the place. We can’t wait to return and explore more of their amazing menu. Highly recommend!
# few road side parking slots are available or Cecil road car park is the nearest car park.
The interior was lovely and a chilled vibe to the place.
Having never had Sri Lankan food I didn’t know what to expect. It’s kinda like Indian but more spicier so be prepared. We really enjoyed it. Will go again very soon and will look to see if they do take out because I would prefer it to an Indian on a Saturday night at home. This restaurant was a very welcome surprise you won’t be disappointed.
For Indian food lovers, Sigiriya doesn’t disappoint either – their menu features some finger-licking good dishes that are sure to satisfy your cravings. Whether it’s the spicy kick of a curry or the comforting warmth of biryanis, you’ll find a delightful fusion of flavors that keeps you coming back for more.
The ambiance, service, and attention to detail make this spot a must-visit. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates incredible food with authentic roots!
What truly makes this place special is the warmth of the lovely owners, a charming couple who greet you with genuine smiles, along with their fantastic staff who make you feel right at home. And let’s not forget a big high-five to Chef Dhahayake, the genius behind these incredible dishes – every bite showcases his mastery of flavor. If you’re looking for a place that delivers exceptional food with heartfelt hospitality, Sigiriya is the one!
