At our Lagrange, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Cashier was rude and very unpleasant to work with. She did not offer us add-ons but would not honor the free item advertised at the register. The food was under cooked and very unappetizing. Every table in the dining are was dirty, as was the condiment area. Terrible dining experience. Would not recommend this location to others.

I got at 2pc fries and an medium lemonade , I try to drink the lemonade I can taste yall clean supplies in the lemonade idk if yall just clean the drink Machine but that’s not Acceptable for my lemonade that’s almost $4 to taste like restaurant cleaning supplies

Good food, but long wait in drive thru. Parking is difficult, so keep that in mind during peak times. They do have spacious dine in area and a large menu to choose from. They offer Door Dash for delivery. I recommend.

Came in yesterday and it was only 2 people working. A cook and I think a manager working the front. The restaurant was packed but the manager was friendly and advised us that there would be a wait. When we finally got our food it was hot and fresh. Compliment to the young guy in the back cooking. He was alone but moving orders left and right.

Ordered sampler platter with mac and cheese and loaded potato, jalapeño poppers and clam strips. Usually it’s good but today not so much. The chicken was burnt. The potato was black on the inside. Who serves potatoes that have gone bad? They were out of ranch, ketchup, and didn’t put any sour cream for the potato. I wouldn’t have ordered the poppers had I known there was no ranch. Overall, it’s pretty awful.

This is the slowest ran Captain Ds I have ever been to. I have tried this location more than twice and same results every time. It takes 15 minutes to order and 20 more minutes to get the food. In the drive thru with only 2 cars in line…This is ridiculous.

This is what I get for a meal. This place is a perfect example of bad service. This meal was a chicken and shrimp meal with two extra pieces of chicken. I only got 2 small pieces of chicken and 3 under cooked shrimp. The okra was also under cooked.

Placed a mobile order that was estimated to be ready at 9:14pm. Got there at 9:08, and it took until 9:33 to get to the order window. Once there, the girl working opened the window and asked us for $25 for someone else’s order. She didn’t even try to see if she had the right customer. We told her twice we had a mobile order, so she rolled her eyes, then turned to grab it without another word. I wanted some tartar sauce, but she ignored us and shut the window. She had an attitude from the minute we got to the speaker box. If your employee can’t pay attention to which orders are coming up next, she shouldn’t be on the window. And if she can’t handle being a decent human being and doing her job, she shouldn’t be there, period.

My only down size was the fish. They changed from the original fish and you can tell. I actually asked the manager on shift and she explained to me and even offered another meal if I wanted. Long wait time but my food was fresh and hot 10/10 loved this location
