We came for the fish and chips here and I was not disappointed!! The fish and chips were perfectly crispy and the tartar sauce was wonderful. The waffle fries were also top notch! My girlfriend for a Caesar salad wrap without the chick and loved it! We topped the night off with a pitcher of a lovely raspberry beer. The ambiance here is super cozy and fun. I’ve been needing a local spot to grab fish and chips!

We love MeCo!! This is our local “go to” coffee shop and restaurant. We get coffee, Matcha, and pastries from here at least 3 times per week, and it’s always delicious. Their Sunday brunch is EXCELLENT! In the evenings, we pop in for beers and they put on the Avalanche games for us! We can get a delicious dinner from Serrated, then sit in there and just enjoy the cozy atmosphere. MeCo really have everything we need in a local spot.

First time trying Mecco Coffee (to go) and it was so good!!!! My friend brought it back and everything was delicious, the burritos were flavorful, the ham and Swiss croissant was perfectly flaky, and the vanilla latte was spot on. It is her go to spot and I totally see why. Even as a to – go experience, it impressed. Definitely looking forward to visiting in person next time!!!

Came to the Valentine’s Pre Fixe dinner and WOW was SO good.
Excellent menu. Food was delicious. Service was great, especially coming from a place that doesn’t normally DO wait service.

We had to relocate our baby shower last minute from a nearby park due to wind, and the staff at MECO was so incredibly generous and accommodating, we were truly blown away! They helped us move things around to make room for our large party and our catering and decor, checked in on us to see if we needed anything multiple times and were just overall so kind and thoughtful, we couldn’t be more grateful for them this afternoon. Not to mention the coffee and pastries we purchased for the group were absolutely delicious! Thank you Julius and T – you guys seriously saved the day!

My friend had scheduled her baby shower at a nearby park but it was too windy to do it there. At the last minute, the staff here let us come in and have the party at the cafe. They were super generous and accommodating and we were all so pleased at their community centered approach to service. Plus the coffee is delicious!

Tried this place for the first time and left unimpressed. Their mocha tasted flat and unbalanced; they just hand you a cup with the milk sitting at the bottom and the espresso on the top expecting you to stir it yourself. Had one of their burgers too and was ok, a bit overcooked and dry, and considering the price, it definitely wasn’t worth it.
The service didn’t help the experience either. The staff came across as uninterested and a bit rude, which made the whole visit feel unwelcoming.
Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place. There are plenty of other spots nearby that serve better coffee, better food, and much friendlier service. I actually miss Mountain Cowboy that used to be there.

You’ll have to wait in line, but it’s worth it. Always crowded, always fun. It’s hard to find a place to sit inside that has a clean table, but if it’s nice out – sit outside. Great for families, couples, groups, everyone.

It’s a favorite of mine, but admittedly, their sweet pastries are inferior to their savory ones, yet the latter of which have gotten increasingly difficult to come by. Really missing their spinach artichoke danishes. The drinks are always delicious, as are the serrated grill burgers and waffle fries, so I suppose I shouldn’t complain too much. It’s seriously a great place. The serrated grill menu options are somewhat pricey if you’re just looking for a casual dinner, but the food is good, and the pastries and drinks are reasonably priced for a coffee shop like this. (especially since you can often purchase day-old pastries for a discount!)

I am so glad to see MECO take over this historical building in downtown Frederick. I had a chocolate croissant which was flaky and buttery as fresh baked croissants should be! No costco bulk baked goods here. My husband had a cappuccino and said it was very good. We are looking forward to MECO being a huge part of our community.
