A gem hiding in plain sight!! First visit, but more to come! Really good food, friendly staff! The menu is eclectic, a broad variety of foods including crepes ( sweet or savory)! Can’t wait to go back again soon!
I had the Patty melt served with truffle oil fries, and my friend had the grilled fish with truffle oil fries. And the freshest Crab Rangoon I have ever tasted
They also have a wide variety of specialty coffees.

Great selections of food. They have a kids menu that has a lot of options. The service was the best. Though the kids enjoyed all their dishes, my steak is a little tough. But we will back to try their crepes next time and possibly the Pork Bulgogi.

Love the choices, but they don’t have all the steak options anymore. And they don’t have a regular egg breakfast like most places. The smoked salmon Benedict was great but everything else was so so. Waitress was nice. I went on a quiet Monday morning.

I have visited several times for breakfast. The food is excellent and not the run of the mill.
The service is however slow. I have mostly been in groups of 6 to 8, which may account for the slow service. I personally feel the wait is worth it. Others in my party who have ordered other items have not been as impressed with their choices.
The Florentine Quiche is oh so good! Moist and the blending of flavors perfect.
The skillet I tried was a real winner.
The potatoes are my husbands favorite.

False advertisement! Odered the beef shortrib french dip. Nope! No shortrib meat. It was deli sliced roast beef that was on the grill to long so it was like leather. Not very much meat either. Thy au jus was worcestershire and water. Disgusting.

It’s that restaurant that is the diamond in the ruff. You almost miss it but shouldn’t. Tastes like Grandma’s cooking for a pre-epademic price.

The women who work here (and Jay) are AMAZING. Jodie and Jackie always remember my dad and I, as well as my mum. They remember our usual table and our orders. Their food is delicious, I always get the California Benedict. I also get their toffee or white chocolate raspberry frappe. They’re to die for! Whenever we come here for breakfast, it is quiet and peaceful. The service is super quick, and everyone who stops in is super kind. I love this spot and I look forward to continuously coming back. Thank you for everyone who works here! 🙂

This was my first time trying this place, and I loved it. I had the French Toast with strawberry and bananas with a side of biscuits and sausage gravy. It was delicious! Between the food and service this place it top notch! I only wish it was open after 2:pm. I will be back for sure!

6/4/2023. Since my initial review I’ve been back several times for breakfast, and have been pleased with the food and service. The only issue I have with this place is I’m finding it closed when they say they are open. This has happened at least a half dozen times since my first visit. I can only suggest you call this place before going out to make sure they are open. My review has now dropped down to 2 stars for the inconvenience. 5 star when open though!

Edited at the bottom to respond to owner*
Had a late breakfast meeting yesterday at this place. We ate while conducting business. Out of the 25-30 tables there was only us and another table in use the ENTIRE time we were there. The OWNER “J” personally comes out and tells us, “He’s running a restaurant. We need to eat and leave.” He was very demeaning and passive aggressive.

The waitress was embarrassed and apologized to us. We heard her trying to intervene on our behalf.

I can’t say his harassment was based on the color of our skin, but it certainly wasn’t based on the content of our character.

Needless to say, we will not patronize the business again.

Maybe we should have used the “colored only” entrance and exit.

EDIT
Sir,

1st I heard with both of my EARS that the waitress told you we were taken care of and to leave us alone several times. (We’d paid and were having coffee nothing to “cash out)

2nd there was no shift change since I overhead you say someone called in and had the waitress take the aleve since she was having to work a few hours longer and she was hurting a little.

3rd you waited until the male in the party stepped away from the table to try and intimidate the woman. (By the way he was a regular customer)

4th apparently you’re not “running a restaurant ” since by the other reviews and responses you’re running your already almost non existent customers away.

Lastly it was obvious that the problem wasn’t the snarky “cafe” remark but about the implied “we weren’t welcome and how dare we”.

Please have the day, week, month and year you deserve. We should all practice more human kindness as the year is 2024 not 1944. As it is clear a certain demographic is not welcome in your establishment by you. This in no way reflects on your waitstaff.
