This place is AH-MAZING!!!
The vibes, the service, the food, everything! We went on a Saturday and there was a DJ who played live jazz. The decor is beautiful and our server Kendall was beyond great! The owner Tiffany was so sweet and greeted each table personally, even stayed to chat. I’m so glad my daughter selected this place to dine. We will be back!

This is my first time here and the food and this place is awesome! Our waitress was Yvette she was very nice and knowledgeable about the food we came around midday/lunch. I received the shrimp a la Florentine which was amazing and we had the turkey leg with jerk shrimp and Mac and cheese! When I tell you the turkey leg is off the bone and delicious omg!!!

Please don’t bother coming here. The original Soul Food Lounge is far superior.
I went last night with a friend as a walk-in and the ‘floor manager’ made a huge fuss about us not having a reservation despite having 4 clearly open tables.
Throughout our dinner 3 tables remained opened all night. The waitstaff was rude and never bothered refilling our waters. 1 glass of water each is all we got.
My menu was dirty. The food came after a moderate wait and was room temperature. No steam, cheese unmelted etc. My friend’s food was also cold. The waiter admitted the plates were cold and still make a big stink about warming them.
We didn’t ask for anything to be remade, just warmed. Straight attitude.
The biggest issue was after we ate, the waiter immediately came up to us, asking us to pay our bill, We asked if we could order dessert first and he did not give us a dessert menu. We chose an item based off of what he told us, and he told us that he would HAVE TO put it in a to go container, but could not explain why. The moment he said this two parties had just walked in to be seated so they weren’t closing anytime soon.
We told them they had to put our food on a proper plate, And he forced us to pay the tab before putting in the order…
Lastly, in an attempt to get us to leave faster, they came to clear our table 4 different times before we were ready to leave, The policy states that every table gets 90 minutes to dine, all of this was at the 45 minute mark.
We were also encouraged to leave because of a “Private event” And when I asked why the other tables weren’t being asked to do the same, I was told it was a “Semiprivate event”.
We were quiet and courteous and dressed better than a number of patrons that we’re wearing sweatpants and slides, But single out because we were significantly younger than the median age.
The final slap in the face is when the waiter asked my friend if she was single as we were leaving stating it was “Worth a shot”
2 people $200 for the most abysmal service. 7/10 food, skimpy protein.
Never again, just go to Cooper Hawks.

This place was different. We went for restaurant week. Its hard to say it was bad it wasnt it was just rushed. For restaurant week u had the option to choose 3 entrees u wanted which was great. The issue is they all come out at one time, so your not able to really enjoy your choices cause they get cold fast!! The portions were a great size and the food comes out looking great for the 60 dollars but the restaurant is small and everytime the door opens its right back cold and food is too!

I met Tiffany Burrell, she was very welcoming and attentive to our needs. I Love the vibe and atmosphere was chill, the music was pefect for a Midday Lunch. The food presentation was top tier, and the food was very favorable and portions were huge . I ordered the Shrimp A La Florentine with Mango lemonade and infused Cucumber water. I was so full I needed a to go bag. I highly recommend this restaurant.

For me service and taste go hand in hand, poor service leaves a bad taste in your mouth which trickles down to the taste of the food. This was a birthday outing for my other mother. We ordered the Pot Roast…..keeping it 100…tender, flavorful and delicious! However, nothing else went as it should have for this dining experience. The waitress never introduced herself, no explanation of menu, short sarcastic answers to our questions about the menu. The waitress never came back to our table once after taking our order, and seemingly rushing us to do so. We were totally ignored from the time we sat down, to the time we walked out the door by the waitress assigned to service us. Unfortunately, 18% gratuity is applied automatically. The distinction was even more obvious when the table of 8 was seated behind us and her attitude turned top tier remarkably. The waiter tried clear the air some, but the damaged was already done. This was our first visit, no rush to return based on the service received. Guess I should have traveled out of my area to the Westside location. #servicecountstoo

Small beautiful boutique restaurant. Large portions of food. Very tasty and flavorful. I had the BBQ beef brisket quesadillas with the street corn (which was not on the menu) . Both were phenomenal!! My sister friend had the shrimp a la florentine. For drinks infused water, or lemonade is all they have. Or you can purchase a bottle of wine or something for $20. Menus are different for lunch & dinner. I recommend reservations. There is a $10 cancelation fee for reservations or no-shows. Limited parking. Staff wss nice.
