A cool and unique spot in Madison, around since 1965, with classic old music playing. The bartender is friendly and engaging—she even checked a few times if I wanted more popcorn. They make a great old-fashioned, and the place is filled with tiger figurines and images, which explains the name.

Interesting place. A place I’ve heard of for years and finally had to try out. Got a brandy old fashioned, drink was very weak and not very good. Bar tender was good, he was by himself and the place was packed, he acknowledged me waiting and got back to me quickly while getting those who were a head of me first. Not sure I’d go back, but glad I can now say I’ve been there.

Went on a whim and started chatting with another patron who had a feeling I had never been. The place was awesome. Drinks were ok. Service was astounding, considering it was PACKED. The cool part that the patron who had known so much of the place, the area, and late night eats was the was the owner. It’s definitely a place in my rotation now.

Great dive bar with a ton of character. Everything is tiger themed! Classic jukebox with a great selection of music. A secret little casino in the back (not really a casino, but those video gambling machines you find in every good Wisconsin bar – pull tabs, too). CASH ONLY, but they do have an ATM.
