My husband and I have yet to get an order that is totally correct. We have been trying to give this place some grace but out of 10 orders, 9 will be completely wrong. Tonight I ordered a bowl with cookies and cream, death by chocolate, peanut butter and chocolate. I got NONE of those flavors. Every time we order, something is wrong and we are done ordering from this location. We have even emailed the owner 3 times and nothing has changed. We appreciate being offered free ice cream but what is the point if it’s never right? Disappointing.

Haven’t tried Brusters in a long time and glad I went back. The guy working the window was super cool friendly and professional. The ice cream was not mushy but perfectly frozen. I usually get graham central but tried the mixed berry cheesecake and chocolate pretzel and they were excellent. Unfortunately they were out of Dubai chocolate but I’ll go check again soon.

I love that Bruster’s has a dairy free ice cream option! I got their chocolate raspberry truffle oat milk ice cream and really enjoyed it! This is their small size waffle cone – still a huge helping!

Definitely one of the best ice creams around. Their vanilla is the absolute best – it’s not too sweet, creamy and soft. The butter pecan is also very good, I think they use the vanilla and just add the roasted pecans. I really like that it’s not overly sweet or over powering. Even though it’s a “chain” ice cream shop it really tastes like from a mom and pop shop. I suggest getting a pint or quart rather than just scoops, it’s better priced that way. You can get up to four flavors in the same container.
One thing, they always have issues at the drive thru it seems when people are using coupons. It’s happened a few times the people in front of us are fighting with the server over their coupon. While that’s happening, our ice cream is melting in the window. Should come up with a better system for that.

Milk shakes weren’t really mixed well. The Oreo cookie shake I ordered had all the Oreos at the bottom and the pieces were broken into large chunks of cookie that won’t pass that industrial sized straw you guys provide. May as well just have put whole Oreos in the cup. Will try again and ask for it well done…

This store is under possibly the worst assistant management. This one female manager showed me zero respect when i walked up to the window. They forgot a few toppings on top of my split and when i asked for manager help. The cashier was very willing but the manager didn’t express an urge to resolve the matter at all. This store isn’t the worst but compared to the other stores i’ve been to its just not as well managed.

Generally, I’d leave five stars but due to the ice cream colour being off either because of a possible fat or sugar bloom or other reason, not looking like chocolate Dubai ice cream but a greyish brown. I am leaving a 4 star. However, on other days that I have had this ice cream it was a rich chocolate brown, and the flavor was to die for, and yes even with the strange color it still tasted great. I have an image on my phone of the ice cream and its colour that I can upload later.

Death by Chocolate, yummmmmmmmm. Strawberry, almost as yummy. The two together, extra special. The young lady employee was pleasant to speak with. As I approached the pickup window I saw a poster for something I had never had (chocolate raspberry truffle) and she said she could add a pint to my order. I haven’t tried it yet, but it sounds good.

Our go to spot for ice cream in Frederick. They have a big menu with lots of different flavors and a variety of items like milkshakes, sundaes, cones, etc. The scoops are really big. They give out coupons sometimes and I use their rewards program to get a birthday treat and $5 off every once in a while. They also offer free pup cups for our puppies which comes with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a milk bone treat. The drive thru is really fast or you can go up to the counter to order and sit outside on the benches or tables.

If you’re a butterscotch fan, you’ll probably love the Scotchy Pecan. Intense butterscotch flavor (a little too sweet for me), cleverly offset by slightly salted pecans.
