I have been here 7 times in the last 5 months and every single time I go they don’t have potatoes. When I have gone at lunch time they state they do not serve potatoes at lunch time and only dinner. I have been to many other McAlisters where this is not the standard. I went today at dinner at they stated they did not have any potatoes because they were not prepped. When over 1/3 of the menu is potatoes you should have potatoes. The service was good and the workers were kind about the situation. I understand it’s not their fault and they did everything right. The place is clean and the food is tasty. I would probably give it 4 stars if I wasn’t so frustrated with my experience with the potatoes every time I come. Management seriously needs to address this issue.

The turkey jalapeño crunch sandwich is delicious, hands down my favorite. Everything thing else I’ve tried has also been yum.
I dont think we have had a bad cashier. Some are of course better than others, but that is anywhere you go.
Prices are reasonable considering we spend about the same amount at any other deli spot
As far as sandwiches and salads go I’d definitely choose this spot over the others.
Oh, and their rewards system is pretty cool, we ended up having enough points for a free entree this time.

We did wait a few minutes before a server arrived but host was apologetic. Food came out fairly quick and was tasty with a modern twist. The yucca fries and cheese queso was suggested and a great recommendation. I had the chicken fajitas, enough for two. I always love a good Tempranillo and they have one on the menu. Nice patio when the weather becomes cooler and not rainy. Very enjoyable atmosphere.

Before reading: My restaurant reviews cover the usual but are also heavily from a gluten-free diner’s point of view; if this doesn’t interest you, my review may not be as useful to you as to the growing celiac and otherwise gluten-free community. Or, if you have a different food allergy, my experience may give you some idea of how a restaurant handles food allergies in general.
Not sure what has happened – maybe new management? Staff has heard of gluten but has no idea it goes beyond just bread. Good luck explaining that; it will fall on deaf ears, so save your breath and just insist that they check with the kitchen if you get the dumbfounded stare. Still lots of gluten-free options at reasonable prices. Menu items that are already gluten-free are prominently marked with a wheat icon, and in the past, they have been willing to substitute ingredients to make gluten-free versions of other items; again, have the checkout person consult with the kitchen. Sandwiches, spuds, specialty teas, and lemonades are among the gluten-free fare here. Be careful of soups and desserts.

A wonderful spot tucked in between an auto shop and a coffee nook. Ordering is simple. Just let the people behind you go ahead. So you can plan out what you want. No cluttered menu. Lots of options. Good size portions. I was pleased with this place. Different from the usual chicken sandwiches and burgers which are everywhere.

Really disappointed in this location. I’ve been here quite a few times and have had great service in the past. I went in with a friend to grab a bite to eat, and my husband wanted me to grab him something to go. I’ve ordered a dine in and takeout meal on the same ticket before at this location and have had no issues in the past. However, this evening I attempted to make an order that also had a takeout and was told that they could not do that. The cashier told me they would have to bring it out like a dine-in meal and that she could give me a box to box it up myself. I’ve worked in customer service for 10 years, so I try not to be a bother because I know what it’s like being behind the register. So I didn’t try to argue with her. The cashier never brought me the boxes as she said she would, and I never even really saw her again. I had to ask another girl behind the counter if I could have a box. My husband’s meal sat on a plate next to me while I ate dinner with my friend. The whole situation was very odd and avoidable had they just packaged it as a to go order.

Such great food! Service was fast and friendly, and we love the homey atmosphere of the dining area. My favorite is the French dip sandwich with a generous helping of juicy beef, and a flaky bun toasted just right. The tortilla soup is excellent, nice and cheesy with just enough thickness that it also works as a dip. Also, the iced tea is always perfect. The loaded baked potato is HUGE and could probably make for two meals!

Your Fort Oglethorpe store needs to be improved better. The people that works there does not know how to serve people and the place makes you feel like they’re closing at 8 o’clock mopping the floor in front of the door where you gotta walk out and the food was it presented. Like a $40 meal that’s what I paid had no cracker for the soup sweet tea was not sweet

The taste of the food was really great and the employees were kind. The portion sizes were a little small and I was shocked at the Price. For something equivalent to Panera, it would be significantly cheaper to go to Panera. Will not be returning due to cost.

Ordered a club asked for no honey mustard or spring mix and for it to be on white bread has to take it back to counter because they didn’t make it the way I asked then was brought the remake and guess what it’s on the wrong bread so now my spud is getting cold and needless to say I’m not happy at all we spent $27.00 on our meals for me to have to literally wait to eat because they didn’t make my food correct and the attitude once they was told it was wrong again was uncalled for completely not sure I’ll come back to this location.
