We sat down for 10 minutes before i had to go up to the bar to get a menu. Server took another 5-6 minutes to come to our table after that. Pizza came out paper thin and rock solid. Wings came out 10 minutes after the pizza did although we ordered them as an appetizer. They had one server who was clearly overwhelmed and one bartender who didn’t come out behind the bar to help her at all although she only had one patron. I’d recommend more servers for the night shift, especially during a busy holiday week.

The pizza here is good not the best in Columbus though. This is more of a bar type place with pool tables on one side. The boneless wings were way to over cooked and not good. Server was nice.

I’d give The Pizza Place a solid 3 stars—it was fine, but nothing remarkable. The service was a highlight: our waitress was attentive, and the wait time was refreshingly short for made-to-order, sit-down pizza.

The pizza itself, however, didn’t quite live up to expectations. It was described as New York style, but the crust was thicker than expected—more in line with a standard hand-tossed pie. The layer of cheese was generous, almost too much so, which further distanced it from the thinner, crispier profile typically associated with true New York slices. The toppings were flavorful, though somewhat sparingly applied.

The atmosphere was decent but unremarkable. Overall, while it wasn’t a bad experience, I think there are stronger pizza options in Columbus—both for authentic New York style and other varieties.

The atmosphere here is always amazing, and every time I’ve visited, the customer service has been top tier. The pizzas are HUGE—like XXL—and absolutely delicious, and the salads are a 10/10. I really appreciate Mir, Kiah, John, and Key for making sure my order was perfect and that I felt comfortable during my visit. Their attention and kindness didn’t go unnoticed. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

We visited The Pizza Place in Columbus, GA with a group of seven and ordered two 18” pizzas—one half pepperoni and half Philly Cheesesteak, the other half BBQ Chicken and half Legendary. We also got the mozzarella sticks to start. The mozzarella sticks were fine, nothing standout, but hot and cheesy.

The pizzas are classic NY-style—very large, very greasy, and a bit of a challenge to eat. All the toppings slid right off as soon as you picked up a slice. The pepperoni was probably the best tasting, but also the greasiest. The Philly Cheesesteak and BBQ Chicken had decent flavor, but again, hard to enjoy when everything falls off the crust.

Service was great, especially for a larger group, though we were the only ones in the place at the time. The atmosphere is pretty much what you’d expect from a pizza-by-the-slice spot that also serves as a late-night bar—casual, a little worn. Unfortunately, the bathrooms smelled strongly of urine even though it was only noon, which definitely brought down the overall experience.

It’s an okay spot if you’re craving a big greasy slice, but be prepared to get messy.

Nice enough plqce. I got a cesear salad, slice of pizza, and lemon pepper wings. The pizza was good. The wings were juicy, but well cooked, and the salad was good.

Love the Karaoke, but ive seen the kitchen. Its molding. Their ice machine also has mold. Its disgusying, no wonder the pizza always tastes like dishwater. Will be getting taco bell before coming to karaoke next time.. Yall gotta be paying the health inspecters.. ew.

We stopped in for a quick pie during karaoke night apparently. What a pleasant surprise. We ordered two pizzas, the legendary and one half pep/half cheese. The pizza tasted good. The service is prompt and nice. The prices were amazing.

Cool pizza spot downtown Columbus Georgia to vibe at. The female Puerto Rican bar tender has a bad attitude and poor customer service skills.Other than that the rest of the staff is awesome and so are the drinks.
