I got take out yesterday, eating my leftovers today and starting chewing on a piece of chicken. I feel something hard and pulled this piece of plastic out of my mouth. They’re closed today so I can’t call, but still inexcusable no matter what they say.

I ordered 4 egg rolls and they were dry, the orange chicken was nasty had no flavor, soup had no flavor, shrimp lo mein was DRY(see picture), Chicken and Broccoli very bland (see picture). This place is awful and I will never return.80.00 down the drain.

I mean quality was a non-factor here! They mixed in white rice with fried rice when we requested fried rice and the egg rolls tasted like they were double fried they were old and refried. The most horrible Chinese experience I’ve had in years!!! It’s safe to say I’ll never go back!!! Qualities is a thing of the past!!!!! And yes, that was today on Christmas Eve. It’s been spent over 70 bucks in there for trash!!!!!

We have been ordering from them for YEARS!! The last 2 times we have ordered from there have ended up being a DISASTER. The food is always great but the Older “MANAGER” lady refused to give me her name, tried refusing to give me a refund on the order of 4 dinners and a few sides – because I had originally ordered 2 dinners and a few sides I was feeding 3 people not 8. While trying to figure the situation out with the younger girl the older lady had ALL 4 dinners open on the warmer or whatever they have right by the cash register. But while dealing with all that they rudely paid for the customer behind me while the food was still open they reaching over the opened food to cash the other person out. The older man and the younger girl were very understanding after having to explain myself 10x. They handled it way better then the MANAGER!!!

I’m visiting the Kalamazoo area and I wanted chinese food and this is how I came across Great Wall Express. I ordered the bourbon chicken and unfortunately my chicken was not cooked all of the way. I call them and asked for a refund and they told me to bring it back. I already drove out 30 minutes from the area and was at work so I could not make it back to the restaurant. I am not from here, I am visiting for work and will be leaving in the morning. The owner demanded that I leave my job and bring thr food back, even told me to uber and won’t cover the fees or to come back in the morning. I have a flight back to my hometown so I would not be able to do that because they open later than my flight. I personally do not think its okay to instantly think that every customer is lying about their food but I honestly don’t care that much to do that. Anyways here are the pictures of the raw food that Great Wall Express is happy to serve.

The new menu items were incredible. I got yangzhou fried rice. Was loaded with garlic and green onion flavor. It had shrimp, chicken, and pork. Very kind staff here. They helped us and even offered water when we didn’t order.
