Kast Iron Soda Works is a fantastic place to go! The staff are all really friendly and it feels like a soda version of Cheers. There are a lot of regulars, but they are very welcoming of new people too. Their sodas, floats, and milkshakes are amazing and the atmosphere is awesome! In the picture is an egg cream soda (not for everyone’s taste, but I really liked it!). They have bottled sodas, they make their own sodas (which you can even get kegs of for parties!), and they also have Cockeye Creamery ice cream. They have a good board game collection that people can use while there too. Overall it’s a great, laid back, fun place to go!

Once upon a time… if you are old enough like myself, you might remember going to the drugstore and sitting at the counter to order a phosphate, or a soda, perhaps a milkshake, or even a float. While Kast Iron Soda Works isn’t quite like the old soda fountain you once loved, it’s pretty darn close. Kast Iron Soda Works makes a handful of their own creations in the Soda space along with selling at least a couple hundred other brands, some of which are well known like Nehi, Dad’s, RC, Crush, IBC and so on all bottled in glass. They also sell novelty flavors like dirt and grass flavored. But the real gems are Kast Irons sodas that are on tap, just like it would have been in my youth. You can purchase a cup to drink at the counter, or get one to go. They also have flights where you can purchase four small “shots” of different ones from the tap to see what you might like best. Their own special Root Beer is always available and they have three other flavors that change. Also like the fountains of the past, they can concoct a wide variety of drinks using different flavored syrups. A nice twist to the fountain is the family game room in the back. Bring the kids, order some sodas and head to the back for family game night. Definitely a chill place to relax after a hard day at work.

Very nice place and people! Little pricey on a few items but overall a wonderful place to spend an afternoon/evening with friends or family. Great spot to meet up for a snack, soda or sweet treat! Don’t forget to try some of their board games!

Yesterday was my 2nd time visiting Kast Iron Soda Works! Both times we have gone have been nothing but great! I love that they had a special holiday menu for Valentine’s Day! My bf got a classic Dr Pepper bottle and I ordered the Cherry on Top Cola! I also love that they offer bar seating or tables where you can play a multitude of board games/card games! Both times have been extremely quiet and peaceful, but I’m sure when they’re running events it can get packed! Love this old-school style soda shop! I definitely recommend stoping by if you’re in the area!

Had a brown cow which has root beer, ice cream and chocolate syrup. Was really good. I would definitely order again. Only really have drinks and ice cream. All the ingredients were excellent.

WOW what a Great place. My 16 year old son is still talking about how fun it was. I believe they had over 3000 different bottled sodas (including blue cheese & bacon) plus all the sodas and specialties they make including egg creams, milkshakes, root beer floats with homemade root beer, malts and so much more. It has the feeling of a speak easy. No food is sold but bring your own open a tab grab a table along with a game off the self and have a great time. Don’t forget to grab some clove, blackjack or beamans gum.

Such a cool place. One of the owners was working the ‘bar’ and she was so engaging, helpful, and knowledgeable. They have a wide selection of interesting sodas and candy, too. The prices aren’t bad either, definitely a good place to treat yourself to a boutique experience or get someone a more unique gift.

While we’re not much of a soda (Coke for my Southerners) drinking family, it’s a pretty neat establishment, and the children really liked it. They have a huge variety, so I’m sure there’s something for everyone!
