So after a few decisions searching for a meal this evening, myself and work college decided we’d just jump right in to this one, of course we always look at previous reviews of establishments, however judging by the awards they’ve won here we thought we’d give it a go, so starters I ordered Chicken pakora, this arrived within 10 mins pakora batter absolutely outstanding flawless and mouth watering, collegue ordered mixed kebab and said identical to my comments.. these arrived with sides of sauce and salad etc all very tasty..

Mains colleage can’t remember exactly his one curry anyways bhuna I believe and again said this was out of this world.

I’m a sucker for a chicken tikka masala, this again perfect ratio along side peshwari nan and pilau rice..

Flawless just heaven on a plate, honestly couldn’t fault the food what so ever and of course, initially entering here all members of staff extremely welcoming and very friendly and ensured we had everything required during our meal..

Food rating 10/10 (first ever 10 for any indian)

Wait times 10/10 didn’t wait very long
long

Staff 10/10 brilliant

Price 10/10 fairly priced given portion sizes

Would we return? YES

Thanks again for a lovely meal!

Absolutely no complaints about the food, we all enjoyed our meals but the service and this is aimed at the management, having a server appear at the table as often as they did was very off putting, we had poppadoms but as we were eating these we were asked to give our orders which we did but would have been happier if they had waited until we were finished,2 of us had finished our meals but the 3rd person was still eating and our plates were picked up, servers kept appearing asking if we wanted anything else which we declined but it made us feel as if we weren’t welcome to sit and have a chat after our meal whilst having our drinks, I could have made allowances if it had been very busy or there were customers waiting for a table but it wasn’t. As far as I’m aware this is a restaurant not a fast food place and when meeting friends for a meal we don’t want to be made to feel that we had to eat and run.

Good family restaurant with nice atmosphere, Food was ok but only 4 start, the starters were great but the curry dishes need a little more spice. The Pasanda and Masala were far too sweet. The Biryani was amazing but the Chilli Garlic whilst was nice it was not hot enough needed much more chilli and garlic. The mushroom rice and keema naan was to die for. Overall 4 stars and recommended, we will be going back but will be ordering hotter dishes next time.

Nice ambience, comfortable seats. Authentic Indian experience. Special shout out to the Sag panir which was heavenly. The main dishes were full of flavour and not spicy overall very tasty and delicious. However, I felt that the pakora was not freshly made and was soggy.

Had a works do there in December. The staff were lovely, the food was amazing. I lived down in Bradford where curry is a staple meal for a decade – and this restaurant is very close to that same standard.

I ordered 1 papadam, with that I got pickle tray containing 4 different sauces which they charged £ 5.2. They didn’t informed that pickle tray will be charged while I was ordering papadam. Plus they took it away after I finished papadam. It might be a standard practice in these kind of restaurants but I have been to many other Indian restaurants and never been charged for pickle tray. So advice for customers is to don’t order 1 or 2 papadam as it’s not worth it or if u do order, make sure not to allow pickle tray to be taken away so you can have it with other things. It felt like a hidden charge.

Advice for restaurant is inform customers about pickle tray as a separate starter item and not to hide it behind papadam. Also post menu in Google maps as the menu given on website is showing pickle tray as 3.2 instead of 5.2 and papadam as 1 instead of 1.2. So there is a price mismatch of what is given online and what is being charged at restaurant.

After that we ordered veg curry and chicken madarasa with garlic naan which was good.

Huge disappointment after reading good reviews. My friend ordered butter chicken medium hot spice & I ordered chicken tikka masala. One plain rice & one pilau rice & two Peshawari naans. The waiter repeated the order saying Balti & we said no it’s butter chicken which the two ladies on the next table confirmed they had heard us say butter chicken & correcting the waiter. When the food arrived a different waiter said Balti chicken & we said no we ordered butter chicken so he said sorry yes it’s butter chicken. The chicken tikka masala was too spicy & the other chicken was definitely not butter chicken. We think they had added extra spices to the chicken tikka masala & got the order messed up. The naans had no sultanas or apple just red dried coconut & didn’t taste right. The food was not enjoyable & we told one of the waiters afterwards. We didn’t want to cause any trouble so we didn’t push the issue. The bill was brought to the table with two round foil wrapped mints one of which was clearly re wrapped & had been bitten with part of it eaten I told the waiter have the mice been at it? He brought another one. Expecting the staff to apologise & try to adjust the bill, we went to the till & paid with no apologies to us. Dreadful food & dreadful staff. Avoid at all costs.

Shocking place to eat I ordered food from them and had to cancel it as my car broke down. They won’t refund me the money it was £34 so it’s not like it was a small amount. The staff are so horrible on the phone and did not use a nice manner. Avoid this place if you can shocking place

It was a total disappointment with the food and attitude of the manager. I was in a mood of having a grilled food to have and I searched online and this restaurant having in menu Tandoori Mixed Grill. So I ordered it for take away along with Tandoori Roti. I collected after making payment and came home. When I opened it was totally surprising as first of all it was not grilled and secondly it was covered with artificial red colour.Kebab on top tried and the taste was like very old meat kept so, I spit off and immediately called the restaurant and he was denying they don’t use colours. I said I can put the food in the microwave wave and show him how much colour coming out of the food. Instead of grill I got the food with Full of oil and colour. Scared to consume and returned the food back to the restaurant. The Manager named himself as RAJ seems doesn’t have any manners of hospitality. This restaurant is named as Indian Restaurant. But to be honest , No Indian food use any colours, except in Biriyani where we use saffron. I myself is an Indian and I don’t see any Indians going to this restaurant for Indian food. They cheat the public pretending it is Indian Restaurant. Seems none of them in the kitchen are Indians and they are not aware of Indian food. The food I bought is the worst food I see in my life, even though I had been in many countries in the world. Attached the picture of the food. Can some one say, it is grilled food ?? Payment taken for such a food is not worth. The money might have been sped for KFC or Dominos much worth..
It is really not Indian Restaurant , Please don’t be cheated…
