From the outside, this place looks like a quick and tasty stop for Mexican food — key word looks. We got seated right away, but it took a small eternity for anyone to take our drink order. While we waited, we got front-row seats to the “To-Go Order Disaster Hour,” featuring five wrong pickups in a row.
By the time our food arrived, we were expecting disappointment… but surprise! It was actually really good. Too bad the kitchen was running out of simple things and our poor waitress looked like she was doing three jobs at once.
Tasty food, chaotic experience. Wouldn’t come back, but I’ll give them credit — they pulled off a miracle plate in the middle of mayhem.

Great service with delicious Mexican food – was ready in 10 minutes (try the chicken soft tacos). Ice cold draft beer too. A solid 5 star experience here. Highly recommended.

Went in to eat as a family of 12. Skye was our server & she was quite literally the best server I’ve ever had! Very friendly, quick, checked on us without overbearing us. She brought drinks , cheese dip and our food out quickly. Everything was hot and fresh, she stated she also made our alcohol beverages which were very tasty! If you go eat here, make sure you ask for skye! You won’t be disappointed.

This was a very disappointing experience. Our server was quick to get our drinks, but afterwards asked us every 30 seconds if we were ready to order. When we finally figured it out and put our order in, our food came relatively quick, but the refried beans and Mexican-style rice are very low quality, and my chicken enchiladas were cold in the middle. After delivering our food (and the check, at the same time), our waitress disappeared for 30 minutes. You’d think, as on top of us as she was before we ordered, that she’d maintain that, but as soon as her obligation was fulfilled she promptly ceased to exist, until I believe another server alerted her to the fact that we were sitting, not eating, because we had no beverages.
And I know what you’re probably thinking, “maybe it was busy!” But friends, despite being mid-dinner rush hours, there were perhaps five tables seated in the entire restaurant. For good reason, it turns out. The food is sub-par, and the service is non-existent once you’ve ordered. The building looks kind of cool, so I give it a 2/5 for the atmosphere, but as dark as it is inside, it feels as though it’s probably dirty and poorly maintained. I will never return to this location, and you shouldn’t either.

Very disappointed. Three of us went to celebrate a birthday and all three of us were disappointed because our food was extremely salty. It was our first time going to this restaurant and our last time. The waitress was great and it wasn’t here fault the cook couldn’t cook. Atmosphere was ok, just a little too dim for my liking.

What can I say, I like Mexican food. I had been in Cordele for nearly a week of what was supposed to be 3 days max, and decided to reward myself for my final night in town.
First impressions were that the owner hadn’t updated the interior since the 70s. It didn’t even feel like a Mexican dive restaurant, just an old restaurant that the owner doesn’t care about anymore.
It wasn’t busy when I was there and I was seated quickly. The waitress was perfectly pleasant and I cannot complain about the level of customer service I received.
I ordered a chicken meal that said it was supposed to be “hot” . When she came back to ask how the meal was and if it was too hot I was reminded that this meal was supposed to be spicy. There was no spice at all. KFC has spicier chicken.
The salsa, however, was hot. It took a minute, but when it kicked in, the fire made itself known. If you’re looking for fire in your mouth, try the spicy salsa.
The queso she brought me for dipping the chips was probably an off-brand Velveeta for all the flavor it had.
Would I return here? Probably not. I don’t live in Cordele and couldn’t imagine taking a detour off the highway for the food at this place.
There did seem to be a bar area that I didn’t go into and an outdoor seating area that I also did not explore.

The food was good and hot. We had steak Ranchero and enchiladas. The waitress was nice and attentive. The building is a bit aged and needs some care and repairs. I remember when the building used to be Dairy Queen, so it’s been around a while. The floor was a little sticky. The prices were reasonable.

We have been eating here for years and this place has fell off bad! We got to go ordered and this is how it went. The chimichanga was mainly a tortilla shell. Literally was a 1/4 of a burrito and the ground beef was horrible in it. Dry with no flavor. The rice was not authentic Mexican rice. Tasted like that minute Mexican rice you get from the store. We got a large cheese dip and it was hard and cold. Came straight out the refrigerator. Couldn’t even try it otw back home had to wait and put it on the microwave. The beens are horrible. It was just a horrible experience all around. They use to be good but ain’t no more.

Absolutely horrible food , my food was burnt to the plate and just beyond edible my husband food was also just as badly burnt . Ask the waitress to remove my food to be told she wasn’t allowed by the manger didn’t offer no solution other then to come back and speak to the manger in a few days . When I’m traveling and can’t just come back to this town to speak to a manger Please do better people . Your prices are kinda on the higher end to be such horrible food and service
