a truly one of a kind Indian restaurant. I was here with my parents and I must say that we were speechless for the dishes, the elegance of the restaurant and the friendliness of the owner.

Honestly we were a bit disappointed.
The menu describes the starter options in a way, that if you want to share and taste as much different flavors – than this is what you should go for.
So we ended up ordering 4 Starters to share instead of a big plate each.
It ended up being very small portions, and not very flavorful. It feels like tailor made for the german palate. Where were all the nice Indian spices?
Together with 2 wines we ended up paying 85€ which was too much for what it was.
The restaurant itself looks great and has a nice vibe. But the food couldn’t deliver for us!

As a former resident of Lübeck visiting after six years, I was delighted to find this restaurant gem. The food is outstanding and authentic, reminded me of fine Indian restaurants in Dubai, Oman and Singapore. This is not one of those Indian restaurants in the country that tempers the spices and taste to suit local customers. Probably the best Indian restaurant in Germany. Definitely a must go when in Lübeck.
