So unexpected. I Googled food in my area and behold I’m pulling up to a gas station with a small restaurant attached to it. I decided on getting a asada burrito and it did not disappoint. I’m from Los Angeles and all the burritos in LA all have beans, rice and cheese in the burritos I don’t really find that here in North County / San Diego. It’s a lil whole in the wall spot inside Chevron but it is definitely well worth it their tacos and burritos are very good. You can’t dine in but I can imagine that’ll change when they open a restaurant.

BOMB!! Last night, I had two tacos de asada . The tortilla was perfect, and the MEAT! MEAT TASTE amazing! Today, I went back for a burrito de Asada. I asked the lady without veggies ( green pepper and onions ) with rice, beans, and onion and cilantro. BOMB AF!! The meat, rice, and beans are amazing!

Don’t let the location sway you! It’s inside the Chevron gas station. Tried the Birria taco, steak quesadilla and chicken taquitos. All were so good! Their habanero sauce was pretty bomb too. If you love rolled tacos, definitely try this place out!

When I tell you I have never in my life had a burrito that stayed on my mind as this food joint. Yareli’s taco shop has the best burritos I have ever had in my entire life. The drinks are made naturally on the spot from real fruit, and the service is beyond superb. The people who work here are so kind and really take the time to make your food with so much love. Try it out, I promise you won’t regret it.

Burritos, tamales, tacos, rolled tacos and everything has always been on point.

Really good authentic Mexican food! Adobada Tacos are smack, menudo was clutch during sick times. Steak quesadilla was bomb and I’m trying the #1 breakfast burrito this morning. Had to leave a review. Good local gem.
