Shep’s Grill catered our wedding, and the experience exceeded our expectations in every way. The food was exceptional, with outstanding quality and presentation, and the pricing was extremely competitive and unmatched for the level of service provided. We also requested a dessert that had not previously been offered, and Shep delivered flawlessly—it was truly the highlight and the perfect conclusion to our reception. In addition, he graciously cut and served our wedding cake, which was one less detail for us to worry about on our special day. We highly recommend Shep’s Grill to anyone seeking professionalism, excellent food, and exceptional value for their event.

Washington, NC is a small town and with that comes many of the shops and restaurants being closed on Sunday. Shep’s was not only open but has a very welcoming atmosphere. Anytime I can get food that is as good or better than my own cooking makes me extremely excited. This was just that!! On top of that our waitress was very kind and attentive. It was a grrat experience for out of towners looking for great food and a warm welcome.

Best breakfast around! The Florentine Benedict was delicious and perfectly cooked. The swiss cheese omelet was fluffy and loaded with veggies . The sausage gravy was tastefully seasoned on top of a gorgeous golden biscuit. The grilled shrimp was fresh and grits were good. Fast and friendly service!

We were driving through Washington NC, we wanted to go to a local diner when we found Sheps grill! This is a perfect stop. Local grill with excellent food and service. I had the Southwestern Eggs Benedict which was wonderful! My wife had a BLT with an egg on top.

Outside of having great food, the biggest thing I love about them is the atmosphere. The simplicity of the walls, the open view of the kitchen by the front, the paintings that hang brought in from local artists. Everything came together to create an enticing dining experience. I will absolutely return the next chance I get.

If you’re looking for a place that feels like home with food that sticks to your ribs, Shep’s Grill in downtown Washington is the spot. We celebrated my Aunt and Uncle’s anniversary there and couldn’t have picked a better place. I ordered the fried pork chop with eggs and home fries—every bite was pure comfort. Our whole table cleaned our plates, and the food came out hot and fresh in just about ten minutes. For two of us, it was only around $25, which is a steal these days. Friendly, welcoming, and downright delicious—Shep’s is worth making a monthly tradition.
