This place is amazing. I ordered for delivery through Uber Eats from my workplace, and my order actually got delayed because the driver STOLE MY ORDER… not the restaurants fault. They called me and we got everything worked out, the second delivery driver delivered with care. But once i had my food i was so happy. Not only did it look super nice but it tasted heavenly. The tacos were so flavorful, they didnt skimp on the limes either (i already squeezed them all before the picture)but the guac was so fresh, and plenty of chips. And the churros were so fluffy and crispy at the same time! I definitely want to make a trip in person sometime soon. 10/10 thank you

This place is a hidden gem ! Some of our favorites food I must say is the torta cubana , the quesadilla, tacos are delicious , pambazo was good but I feel like in needs more flavor I barely taste the chorizo I think it was more like a torta with potato filling, the torta Hawaiian was really good especially because the pineapple gave it a special touch of flavor the asada fries are delicious we always finish them all I recommend the shrimp alambres and the aguas frescas.

Great classic little ma & pa Mexican place on the outskirts of Shakopee on old 169. Quirky decor – probably from another restaurant that was once here? – intimate, no pretensions. Order at the counter and grab a table. I had the signature dish – huarache – which I had never had before, but what is essentially a Mexican flatbread pizza (mine al pastor). Very tasty, and washed down with a Modelo Negra from the cooler. The service was super-friendly and nice, food was great, and I enjoyed the low-key nature of the place and watching some LaLiga while I ate. And the bathrooms were spotless (a big plus in my book)!

El Huarache serves some great authentic Mexican cuisine in a small and quaint restaurant setting.

I had a couple lengua street tacos. They were delicious. They came with onions, cilantro, and a side of lime. They also came with a green and red sauce. I definitely enjoyed both. The red sauce had a smokey flavor a bit of spiciness to it. The green sauce was bright and delicious. I also had chips and salsa. The salsa was great.

The food came out quickly and fresh. The staff was friendly. The prices were more than reasonable.

I ordered online and picked up at the drive through. It was fast and the food was great. The guy working the window was super friendly. I’ll order from here again.

So I continue to search for good Mexican Restaurants, and today I found one with great food and salsa that has a great kick.
This place is a bit out of the way but definitely worth trying out.
Staff is very friendly, walked in and was greeted and asked if any questions about the menu. Ordered at the counter and then found a table. Food came out pretty quickly and was a good temperature.
What we ordered:
Huaraches Al Pastor (diced pork chop and chorizo)
Mix of tacos (Al pastor and grilled beef)
Burrito (they used a burger and chopped it up for my daughter since they don’t do ground beef.)

The Huaraches had great flavor. Not an entree I had previously had but the beans in the tortilla and the mix of toppings made a great combination. The green and red salsas were outstanding.
The tacos were very tasty and came with rice and beans.
The burrito came with fries since they made it a kids meal for us.
Drinks were Guava and Apple soda and a mango smoothie.
Will definately be back.

Amazing food, some of the best I’ve had in this state so far. One of the only places I know that you can get horchata and chilaquiles, both of which are amazing!

Probably the best mexican food i’ve had in minnesota, I was super impressed. Everything was super fresh and everything looked and tasted homemade, nothing was over seasoned or over sauced, the ingredients just spoke for themselves and were really good. What impressed me the most was that you have to wait for the horchata with the rest of your meal, and the large size is huge, and when i tasted it i could immediately tell it was homemade, super nice sweetness but not cloying and with a good but not overpowering cinnamon taste, after my meal i asked the woman at the counter and she confirmed it was homemade and you could taste it with everything, and if they’re making their own horchata they’re more than likely making their own everything. This place is really humble with a lot to be proud of, I’ll definitely be here again.

never had Mexican food like they serve. Lack of effort on making their food good was surprising. And costly as well.
