Stop by the location to order the pizzas to get them Hotter than delivery. I asked the guy at the counter if there were any deals and he told me no. I ordered a large pizza and a small pizza to what we wanted at our shop. I really wanted to order three or four pizzas , but they have no deals. Then while they’re making my pizzas, I’m looking through stuff and they’re actually ordeals.There’s a family deal and other deals where you can get more pizzas for less money. Now for the pizza. The sausage pizza tastes like when you get in high school.It was really bland and nothing special about it at all. I’ve got a 5 topping veggie pizza that I think they forgot to put the sauce on because it is not good.It tastes like raw vegetables for the most part. The disappointment level here is outstanding. Thank goodness I got the garlic butter or I wouldn’t be able to even finish these pizzas. It’s been a long time since i’ve been to papa john’s. They really need to change something or they’re gonna keep fading away. Weird thing that happened while I was there.Some man walking off the street with gray hair long beard went behind the counter and didn’t wash his hands. Fixed his own something and put it in the oven. Nasty!!

I went in to get my delivery after driving a hour by the way so I was already tired the pizza was not ready and past time BUT THATS NOT WHAT THIS IS ABOUT because I was waiting I chose to use the bathroom, it was locked a bald older delivery driver was leaving the bathroom as I was going in (he worked there not a doordash) it immediately smelt like drugs so I was thrown off went to grab the lid and POOP got on my hand then I realized the toilet had it all over it and so did the FLOOR it looked like he tried to clean it up but smeared it everywhere and then went straight back to work, I washed my hands and went out there I see him in there acting like nothing happened. This is gross to me because even after I left the bathroom another driver went in there and nobody cleaned it and went back in where they prepare the food. GROSS dude.

I Just wanted to shout Out the team on shift September 30, 2025 around 7 PM. Upon arrival, there were a few issues with my order, but they were quick to fix the issue and were very respectful and kind. Nowadays, it is hard to find good customer service even though you’re the one spending your hard earned money. So hopefully the manager that eventually reads This will show them that they are appreciated.

I recently ordered a carryout from Papa John’s, and I must say, the one topping pepperoni pizza was absolutely amazing. The entire experience of the food itself was fantastic, but there were a few aspects in terms of service that could have been improved.
Let’s start with the positives. The pizza was incredible! They did an excellent job fulfilling my request for a one topping pepperoni pizza. The toppings were evenly distributed, and the flavor was mouthwatering. The crispy pepperonis and perfectly melted cheese on a well-made crust made every bite a delight.
However, I did notice a slight issue with the attitude of the staff. It appeared that they may have been a bit stressed or tired since I picked up my order just before closing time. While I understand the pressures of working until closing, it’s important for employees to maintain a positive and friendly attitude towards all customers. A better attitude and a more welcoming atmosphere would go a long way in enhancing the overall dining experience.
Despite the slight issue with the service, I want to emphasize that the quality of the pizza itself was outstanding. Papa John’s delivers on taste and flavor, and I would still recommend their one topping pepperoni pizza to others.
To sum it up, Papa John’s did an exceptional job in terms of fulfilling my order and delivering a mouthwatering pizza. Food was mid. I mean that with all due respect. What really threw me for a loop was the lady at the counter. I came in & gave her my name which then proceeded to type something in the computer, turn around and walk off. Nothing. Not a look. Just walked off. Well I figured they must be still working on it but some type of communication wouldn’t be to hard ♀️ There was an older gentleman cooking when I came in. He proceeded to finish the order he was getting ready to deliver and then come wait on the customers she abandoned. Here’s the kicker, the order was ready the whole time. Now I’ve never met this lady a day before in my life. This was a first at this location. My usual is Harvard location. Crazy weird behavior and terrible customer service. Also, it wasn’t just me she did this 2. She did it to 3 other customers as well.
Edit to add: they were not swamped. There was one pizza on the screen & the 3 customers. That’s it.

I can’t believe these are actually advertised here! I opened up every single last roll to find disappointment after disappointment. I ordered the Spicy Pepperoni Rolls and ended up with just uncooked dough with almost zero sauce. It comes with 8 rolls. Each roll either had nothing inside or just 1 small pepperoni and 1 jalapeño in each with zero sauce in some and a pinch of sauce in the others. Very disappointed as this was my first time trying this. Don’t know if this goes on at just the 11th St. location or not.

They don’t wear gloves before handling ingredients. Toppings etc. Apparently the lady inside says they are not required to. I wouldn’t order from people that don’t wear gloves while handling food
Edit: since the people working here wanted to educate me about food handling, I would invite anyone visiting to look at the general hygiene of the employees at the time they handle the food pre cooking. If it is ok with you in the post covid times you do you.
