Very good restaurant.
The food was really nice. I was able to tell that the quality of food was there.

They were able to deliver the perfect flavor and spices. The waiter confirmed my spice level but I picked spicy lol and it was a hell spicy but I still enjoyed the taste and flavors.

I recommend this restaurant for a quality of food and Indian delicacy.

I loved the butter chicken and rice. There’s so much flavor, especially with spicy chicken tenders . I’m also appreciative of the veggie appetizer platter. Amazing!

Chance visit – Rockstar dish! I came across the Little India Cafe by accident. I was visiting clients and hungry for lunch.

I ordered the Chicken Malai Kebab. The picture shows what happiness looks like. Kebab chicken which came with some sizzle. Really simple and great rice and my favorite Garlic Naan. It’s crunchy and bread and sops up the curry.

My origins are Indian and therefore I can be more opinionated. This dish knocked me out. So good.

The combination of kebab fired on the tandoor separate curry was like going on a flavor journey. That picture is just contentment.

I left with a skip in my step. Well deserved 5 stars!!

We were working at in Brooklyn, Maryland on a 2021 Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat for our wonderful customers. We used Google Maps to locate a great Indian restaurant that was local and non-chain. We found Authentic Little India Cafe which was 9.0 miles away. Authentic Little India Cafe is a simple, casual and cozy authentic Indian restaurant with great food and beverages. They have a simple menu that is not too busy and has something for everyone. You can have a delicious and fresh meal coupled with warm, friendly, and very attentive customer service. The establishment is a really popular place with the locals and it is definitely a “Refreshing Change from the Chains!” It can get very busy in there so arrive early and you won’t be disappointed.

Upon entering, we were immediately greeted by Mr. Singh, Proprietor for over 13 years. He was very friendly, pleasant, professional, and had a genuine smile. It was a Sunday around 07:30 PM and we were immediately seated, provided with menus and our beverage order taken. He was also our server and he smiled, welcomed us, and immediately introduced himself. We were fine with water, no ice, and four lemons. We explained to him that we were very hungry and that we located his restaurant via Google Maps.

For an entree, we shared the Tandoori Platter and order two House Salads. The Tandoori Platter was absolutely delicious and it paired well with the House Salads. Our meals were prepared, portioned, cooked to perfection, and served hot. The meat was very tasty and melted in our mouths. We usually do not order dessert but Mr. Singh provided us with a complimentary serving of Gulab Jamun which was different and yummy. He was very attentive, friendly, efficient, and happy to help! In short, the great food and awesome customer service made for an awesome dinning experience! We will definitely be returning here when we are in the Brooklyn, Maryland area to try some of their other appetizers, entrees, specials, and dessert.

This was the worst food I have eaten in my entire life! I ordered a takeaway for two people, onion bhaji, which is supposed to be deep fried and crispy, these were floppy cold strips of onion. Garlic naan, which was obviously stale, dry thin tasteless bread, prawn tandoori, the prawn were overcooked, hard, dry morsels that I couldn’t eat as I found them too dry to swallow and a Chicken biryani, which was at least edible but dry. If this had been served to me instead of a takeaway I would have sent the whole meal back and walked out! Over $50 wasted, not to mention a 30mins round trip to collect it! I do not recommend eating here! Go spend your money elsewhere!

I had butter chicken and it was different than any I’ve ever had in my life before was very red very tomato E the chicken was tender, but I just didn’t taste like butter chicken. I ordered the garlic no which was made with garlic salt and not real garlic and that two is different than I’ve ever had before. The people were very nice, but I don’t think I’ll ever go back.

Little hidden gem! All the reviews talk about the great service, and they’re right! Everybody was so nice. Steady steam of customers, many seem to be regulars, and a table full of take out orders, but lots of open tables. We’re used to paying through the nose at fancy Indian restaurants, so this cozy, unassuming little restaurant was a revelation. Full bar (generous pour on the wine) and great food. Spice levels of your choosing. We’ll be back….shhh, don’t tell too many people:).

So many times this year I’ve gone to Indian restaurants and asked for the big spicy food and I’m given something mild and I feel like I’ve not been heard. I ate at this restaurant this past Monday and I had the chili chicken and I was so pleased to see the waiters smile when I saw him smile and acknowledge me, and then I receive the most delicious deeply flavorful spicy dish I’ve ever had. The wait staff were all very kind, the place was clean and beautiful, and the food was 100/10. I took some of my dish home with me and I’ve had two days of beautifully spiced breakfast to remind me of this wonderful meal.

Thank you so much for such a great experience and great food! ❤️

I visited this place to get Indian masala chai during my visit to Baltimore. I was planning to go back to my hotel, get ready, and then return here for dinner.

However, the masala chai was not good at all. It tasted like hot water and completely changed my impression of the place. I can’t really comment on the food since I didn’t end up eating there, but as they say, first impressions matter. If a place can’t make a simple masala chai properly, it’s hard for me to trust the rest of the menu.

Biriyani did not taste like biriyani. It was chicken curry and rice mixed together. GOAT meat was okay. Quantity was good. Price is fair. I would not recommend getting biriyani from here for the price.
