Thank you to the bartender that served my family and I in the late night hour. We really appreciate you being up front about the minor policy and still find a way for us to order and enjoy a great meal without the dining experience. Nice patio seating friendly for pets.
Service was decent , food was actually really good, had. New York steak which was cooked perfect and seasoned just right.
Cajun fry’s were outstanding!
Salads were excellent.
Pricing very reasonable.
They even brought water to our Ellie (dog).
I would recommend this place for a pet friendly good tasting meal!

After reading some reviews I was looking forward to coming here. When we arrived, we were not greeted by the two bartenders. I was looking for a place to sit they did not give any directions. My date and I sat for at least 10 minutes ( gracious estimate) before anyone came to the table. The bartender asked if we wanted anything to drink and handed our menus to us. He did not suggest any of the craft brews or craft drinks and seemed disgruntled he had to wait tables. He left and returned with my dates drink and asked if we were ready to order. I ordered fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp. I watched as a group of at least 20 people walked in and was not greeted by the same two bartenders who had been at the bar. It was obvious to me that the people were looking for direction where to sit after about 10 minutes. The group walked out front at no time did any staff try and help them they eventually left . Our food was delivered by another male staff. There was no silverware with our meal. He didn’t even say anything to us after about five minutes of my food getting cold, I had to ask one of the bartenders for silverware. When I got my fettuccine Alfredo, which I have ordered at other restaurants, I noticed it did not have a creamy white sauce. The sauce with this fettuccine was very oily only cheese on. It was the grated Parmesan. There was plenty of shrimp however they were not cooked. A couple of shrimp were actually still cold when I bit into them. While we ate our meal, not one server came to check on us. One server did come by and placed a bottle of water down but said nothing to us.
I was not impressed. I know businesses have an off night, this really threw me off with all the five star reviews. I don’t know if people were just being nice or actually had a better experience. I know if I was a manager or own the restaurant and a table of 20 came in and I lost their business I would be upset. Maybe it is par for course for this restaurant.

As a frequent visitor of Newberg I have adored this spot from my first visit. I continue to come back to this place and receive fantastic service, food and drinks. I have come in at all times of the day and the staff have never waived from anything less then excellent. This is what casual food looks like when it’s done right! I would happily recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for a quick and quality bite to eat!

I had the fish & and chips, and I really enjoyed the meal. The fish were flaky with a crispy batter that was just right, not too heavy. The fries were great, the house made tartar sauce was good, and the coleslaw was very tasty. My wife enjoyed the Crispy Chicken Salad. Great, friendly service, too! We will be back!

Located in downtown Newberg, Old Town has a good location and a fun atmosphere. However, the food and service need some work. I had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. When I bit into it, the chicken was so crispy it hurt my mouth. I thought it might just be along the edges, but it was extremely crispy/burnt all the way through. It did come with a large order of good fries, which I enjoyed. I would’ve told my server about the burnt sandwich, but she never returned after bringing out the food. I kept waiting for her to come and bring the bill but she never came and I didn’t see her. I ended up going up to the bar and had the bartender tally up the bill. I won’t be back.

I was here this morning and Dahlia was my server. She was amazing! Went over and beyond. But, the bathroom was disgusting and the bar was filthy. Unfortunately that seems to be pretty common here as this is not my first time coming. A cleaner environment would make this place top notch.

Great service, full bar, friendly, and nice variety on the menu. Steak cooked perfectly but butter on top hard and not melted and quality of steak was not great. None of food was hot, just warm. Side salad was much better than expected. Really close to being a great meal.

We have been to this restaurant about twice a month for the past few years. We have enjoyed the food and the friendly staff. This morning we got there a little before 10:00 a.m. with our dogs and sat at a table on the patio. The waiter told us we had to leave because they were going to seat a large party inside. That party had not arrived, and there were only two of us, but we were told they couldn’t serve us. We have been loyal customers, but we will never go to Old Town Bar and Grill again.
