I ordered the Louis Prima Suprima pizza, and while I do love meat in general, this pizza was the best meat lovers pizza I have ever eaten. We ordered the chicken cordon blue hot sandwich and the Sub cold sandwich which were everything I was hoping for. The lady working there was polite, with exceptional service. I wished I could sandwich this place to my hometown!

Grabbed take out, 2 large pizzas with cheese bread $84. Staff was super friendly. Pizza was amazing outside of the chicken bacon one. Very very bland. Caramelized onions were flat and not fully caramelized. Chicken was unseasoned and almost like it was canned chicken in water. Comet and 4 cheese were incredible.

My husband is a pizza junkie and I have probably hit every pizza joint downtown to grab him a slice. He wanted pizza for lunch today. I didn’t want to grab him a slice that was previously made and reheated so I stopped into Casanova Pizzeria today.
To get to this joint is probably easy but with all the road construction going on, it was a pain to get to today. I finally made it in and I’m happy they have designated parking for their guests. I probably would have left if there wasn’t parking.
They do have two points of entry, one for dine in and take out. Made my way in and saw how pretty this venue is. I love the big windows and the brightness of the place. It’s very spacious with very pretty light fixtures. There was a menu at the register and checked it out while I waited for someone to help me. To be honest, I waited for a hot minute there. It wasn’t till another guest that had a pick up order that showed up when the waitress greeted me.
I ordered a small pizza with half marinara and half Alfredo sauce with extra cheese for my husband. I was told 20 minutes would be the wait time so I made my way to the gas station across the street real quick to kill some. Made my way back and hung out for about 10 minutes. My pizza was ready in a pretty white box stamped Casanova on it. I looked at it to make sure it was all good and made my way to my husband.
The pizza was pipping hot! The crust was golden with some char spots on it. The cheese was beautifully melted in the middle. It was a beautiful pie. I had a small slice cause why wouldn’t I? The cheese had a great cheese pull. The slice was thin nad had a nice layer of sauce. The mix of the
sauces were perfect! The crust was crusty on the outside but soft and airy in the middle. What I appreciated the most about this pizza is that there wasn’t a huge crust to it. You got pieces with minimal crust so you’re getting to enjoy all the goodness of the sauce and cheese.
This joint is legit good. It’s not the cheapest pizza but you are definitely getting your money’s worth. I don’t know when we will be back but if it’s soon it will definitely be a date night spot for us. I look forward to eating another pie and trying one of their salads.

Watch John Travolta in the opening sequence of Saturday Night Fever (which is freely available on YouTube). That great New York pizza he’s eating? Perfection in a pizza. I’m not a veggie guy but this was my favorite out of the 4 we got. The veggie pizza was for me was amazing. I am writing this review the day after having it and I’m still thinking about it…it was the bomb. Surprisingly explosive flavors from the toppings, balance in flavors from the zucchini and eggplants and garlic, crust and bottom was nice and crisp, so impressive for pizza with those many toppings.

Our friends wanted to try this place, so we ordered a large mondo and a small comet for pick up. The drive there and back was about 10 min. When we opened up the mondo there was a piece of dark hair wedged in the cheese and sauce. Both pizzas were soggy and wet. The mondo slices completely fell apart trying to pick up a slice. We attempted to crisp up the dough by putting it in a large pan and it didn’t help much. Highly disappointed. We tossed the remaining pizza. Would not order again.
