not fancy but you get plenty for a reasonable price. waitress was on point polite took care of us kept our glasses full. i prder the small plate oysrers and jumbo shrimp he ordered the large fried jumbo shrimp came with fries slaw and hushpuppies . fries were not as crispy as i like but the seafood and hushpuppies were fried just right.

i haven’t eaten there and I never will. Especially after I have seen pictures of there kitchen from someone who went there to exterminate the roaches they have. This is extremely nasty.

Awesome place! The seafood was very good ( and we are very choosy about good seafood) and the service was friendly and excellent!!! Our waitress Sara was outstanding!! They will put the food on you! I highly recommend the fried clam strips.

delicious food you get more than your monies worth polite waitresses this was the trout and shrimp platter i seperated the trout but it all cones on one plate you can get baked potato or fries and of course hush puppies are included

My husband and I have been to Fisherman’s Cove on many occasions, but this the first time we have had Sara wait on us.We have see her dressed like a homeless person on many occasions.Which already makes us question what type of service so would give us, but our favorite server Joan wasn’t there, and we didn’t know it when we asked for the middle section which is Joan’s section.So, much to our surprise Sara finally came to wait on us. I wish I had went with my gut feeling to go somewhere else since Joan wasn’t there.Sara doesn’t know what she’s doing.She brought us the wrong drinks to start with, and didn’t come back until my husband sat his empty cup on the end of the table.On top of her poor service skills with us she was only worried about the big table she had, and we was left feeling like she was able to handle more than one table.We also felt like she didn’t real care that she’s a bad server.If From now on if Joan isn’t there we’re leaving or getting our order to go. The food is good and I truly suggest you ask for anyone else Sara to wait on you if you want a good experience and decent service

My 83 year old mom loves fried catfish and this is the only place she wants to go to have catfish. Celebrated her birthday there today. She loves us a bit more than Fisherman’s Cove restaurant. It’s not high end but it’s abundant in fried seafood and the staff is great!! Love them all even though I have never met the kitchen staff.

We have eaten here for over 5 years. The seafood is always fresh and cooked to order. All the breaking is done in house. The best value seafood in the area. We have tried them all and this is the place to come to. The service is good, the quality and amount of food is good, and the owners will try to accommodate special request when they can. The building and the decor is dated but This place is worth the trip.

The dirtiest place I ever ate the food from!
I guess I was desperate for fried fish and decided to go ahead and order even after I was appalled by the lack of cleanliness. And I did eat the food (at home, it was a carry out order) and the food seemed ‘ok’.
The food wasn’t worth a return visit, although the portion size was quite large.
On the plus side – a Really Friendly Place! While I waited for my order at least 4 people asked me if I’d been waited on, 2 ran back to the kitchen to ‘check’ on my order and the older woman at the register was quite chatty.
BUT It Was SO Dirty! Even the cash register had old dried bits of food on it.
After I ate the food I took home I kept waiting to feel sick – I never did – but I can’t see going back…. I keep thinking that the mgt. knows customers are seeing the what I saw and don’t care, then what does the kitchen (which I cannot see) be like?
Again, I did eat the food and the staff was very personable and the portion size was generous but so dirty!

Please don’t let the outdoor view & older seating scare you, Fisherman’s Cove has the best seafood in the area! They have a great multi combo platter (Large) for $20 of which most cannot eat all the food.
Have been there twice & the food was cooked to perfection. Much better service & far generous portions for less than the price of Harbor Inn & Mayflower Seafood! It doesn’t get better around here for seafood.
However, I don’t recommend for takeout & have a long ways to drive home, the food will be cold & kind of greasy. This occasion was at a relative’s home & it was an hour after pickup when we ate. I do not hold this against the establishment, as seafood (just like steaks) is best served as soon as cooked.
If possible, would rate Fisherman’s Cove a perfect 10!
