Overall I had a decent experience. The food came out hot and the prices were decent. I ordered the calzone with ham, sausage, peppers, and onions (I also added mushroom).
While the crust on the calzone was fantastic and there was a lot of meat in it, I am not giving this review 4 stars because I was a little bummed about a few things:
1) Additional calzone fillings cost $1.50 per item. I did pay this for the mushrooms and did not see many of them.
2) Calzones do not have ricotta cheese in them (or I couldn’t taste it at all) and I didn’t see an option to add it on the menu. Is it even a calzone without the ricotta?
3) Marinara sauce is just okay. It has the consistency of a smooth salsa and didn’t have much flavor.
Service was good and food came out in a decent amount of time.

Wow, if you plan on ordering a 10″ pizza and expect to eat it all alone, good luck. I got the Taco pizza and my husband got the carnivore with a ton of meats with Canadian bacon, sausage and pepperoni. The toppings were excessively plentiful and delicious, however, I couldn’t finish even half! We got the thin crust, which was crispy the way I like. And, we got the garlic toast, which was also excellent. The next time around, we will split a 10″ rather than ordering 2 pizzas that we expected to be personal sized. It was a bit pricey, but the food was great!

Excellent pizza and fast service. The pizza is more of a New York style, at least the one I had. It was great, fresh and hot, just what a pizza should be. The green olives tasted delicious. The cheese and pepperoni were baked onto it with perfection. The pizza was plenty big enough and was great because it also had some smaller slices.
It also included the legendary Noidavoider! Great stuff!

2 slices and a drink fills me up every time. Good pizza and good people. It’s the little things that make this place enjoyable. The pick a slice rack In the front has ready to eat pizzas.
The guys there wait a few minutes after the pizzas come out before adding them to the front case so the toppings don’t slide off the top.

Happened to stop in on trivia night and had a blast. Food and drink was food and reasonably priced. Even blanketed in snow they were open and friendly. Our waitress was very attentive and courteous. Next time I’m in town i will stop in again and strongly recommend this establishment to others. Parking in the rear was available and the rear entrance was very easy to find.

Not a fan of loud sports bar tho places. Very tight and crowded. The food used to be amazing but it somehow has really gone down in quality (we typically get the same kind of pizza). I wouldn’t recommend it for take out or delivery because it doesn’t stay fresh that long,

The service is terrible. Can’t tell you how the food was because we never got it. We waited for over an hour and finally asked our waitress what was taking so long. She actually walked away and then came back and told us she forgot to put the order in. She brought us our check and charged us for our sodas so I went to the bar waitress to complain and she said since we already drank them, we had to pay for them. I asked to speak to the manager, and he was actually attentive and wanted to comp our drinks. However, the bar waitress was in such a hurry to run my card and get rid of us that it had already been ran so I just said forget it.

We ordered a meat lovers Chicago style pizza – it was delicious!! This will be from now on our pizza place here in Iowa City. Lots of fun variety in pizza toppings and specialty pizzas. Our pizza was well prepared and included yummy ingredients! The crust is my favorite part. 10/10 recommendation!
