So I’ve been traveling the west/sorth west side for the best.
Little did I know That REAL pho was basically in my back yard tucked in near planet fitness (great pre work out drink for those too)
So the reason I give this one a 8/10
Made to order- this is important to me just for fresh ness guarantee they use a pretty decent French espresso and standard condensed milk splash of regular milk and ice! (It’s a simple drink but if you love strong coffee drink you have to this, it’s medium sweet with condensed milk but so delicious also little less expensive for 16oz then Starbucks or other at just under $7 for the cup.
I haven’t ate there or had anything else but the coffee alone make me want to get a banh mi sandwich
The ladies working were friendly and was enjoyable to chat with while they made my drink!
Their Vietnamese tea and coffee are very flavorful.
I do recommend the pho, I have had the seafood, chicken, vegetables/tofu and the eye round steak and brisket as well as seafood fried rice.
Today, I I got the Korean beef BBQ w rice.
As I said. Great overall, Sometimes, I also get a portion of veggies on the side. Always very well steamed and good flavor.
Great new management! I am obsessed.
As for the rest of our order: pork bánh mì and pork rice plate – were better tasting and better prepared. Turned out to be the most decent in our order. Fried rice was decent flavor but rice was mushy, as if made with too much water. It also did not taste like jasmine or any Asian long grain. Our Vietnamese egg roll appetizer came out at the end of our meal because the waitress “forgot about it”. When they finally appeared, we couldn’t eat them because they were charred and tasted like charcoal. The cook came out to tell the waitress something and she was not Vietnamese much less Asian.
The service was polite if forgetful. Would have been nice to have been checked on for drink refills/ needs. We were 1 of 3 tables in the whole place…
