What a lovely surprise to receive a slice of birthday cake — it truly made my day.
The sushi here is excellent. The prawns are big and fresh, and the salmon is incredibly fresh and delicious. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients.
Every piece of sushi is carefully and thoughtfully prepared, showing the effort and passion behind the food. Overall, a very enjoyable dining experience with great food and warm touches. Highly recommended!

What can I say. Could be the best little Japanese place outside of Japan. Fresh handroll, brilliant prices, great concept, great atmosphere. It’s got it all. Highly recommend but you should always book, gets very busy on weekends.

We shared Hangry Value Set Rolls (7 handrolls), a plate of eihire (stingray fin) and 2 more handrolls between the two of us and left with a happy stomach.
Each and every handroll was excellently made- the nori had a good crunch, the rice was well seasoned, ingredients were fresh and flavour was on point! Must try the salmon bomb, hotate, negitoro and tamago avocado truffle cream.
The eihire was grilled and seasoned well which made it very addictive- especially when paired with beer.
Service was friendly and attentive. The whole dinner service was well paced and the server kept refilling our green tea promptly. Would highly recommend!

Great food, value for money. The handrolls are delicious. We ordered the set for two person and the rolls are cut into half for sharing portion which is perfect. My favourites are the blue crab and scallop rolls. Lighting ambience a bit too bright in my opinion, if can be dimmed a little then would be perfect. I also recommend sitting at the high bar counter for more social interaction with the kitchen crew. Plenty of beverage options too like Sapporo draft and Dassai sake. Must try if you are in the area.

I’ve already been here a few times since they opened – great, innovative concept for Penang and VERY fresh sashimi all the hand rolls we had we great and the presentation was fantastic – Chef Mo knows his stuff. Prices are super reasonable too! I would eat here over any of those fake omakase places any day ☺️

With so many reataurants in Penang its hard to stand out. This one does. Excellent food and service. Very fresh, made to order and the speed to your table is excellent.
We had 2 appetizers and 7 hand rolls between 2 people and, whilst we ate it, it was probably too much. We were so full!
We wil go back. I hope the standard keeps up as the reputation grows…..not many pics, too busy eating!
