My family and I went for dinner here tonight. So yummy. We had the birria tacos, chimichangas, and steak tacos. Everything was so yummy. The rice and beans. So delicious. I could eat a whole plate of that and be happy.

Travelling from Australia and this was our first Salvadorian experience. We are vegetarian and weren’t sure if we would be catered for. It was excellent with plenty of vegetarian options. Restaurant was immaculately clean. Food was super fresh and tasty. Highly recommend this restaurant next time you are in Gettysburg.

The food was delicious and flavorful! Seriously so glad I stopped in after seeing some great reviews. Definitely one of those spots you’d drive by without really noticing for a while until one day you decide you want to go in, realizing you’ve missed out on the best dining spot in town. Wr came for the papusas and were NOT disappointed!! They were tender, full of flavor and large portioned!! Neither of us could finish (photos of our takeaway box and our guacamole attached).Their guac was one of the best I’ve had. And their horchata was fresh and flavorful. Service was exceptional and the atmosphere was inviting and clean. More people should come and enjoy!!

Simple and tasty food. The environment and staff are very welcoming and warm. Bathrooms are small but clean. The place such as tables, silverware and seats are also clean, food was well seasoned. We had the empanadas, steak tacos and churros. The only thing I would change is to put more rice on the plate for the price I was paying, I barely got rice enough to eat,maybe add some beans too? And as much as I was enjoying the music, it was too loud, making it difficult to have a conversation. But overall, I recommend the food.

We are on a mini vacation here in Gettysburg. This was the first place we stopped to eat and we were all very excited to try it. My husband got Carnitas, it was very thin but my husband said it was okay. My son ordered the chicken enchiladas and he loved them. I ordered Birria flavor was good but meat seemed a little dry. My daughter ordered Flautas and she devoured it. My lack of stars on the food is due to my bill being $77 and the flavor was basic. Servers were friendly but after the food was served they never came back.

I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was! Not that I expected it to be bad or anything, but wow! We ordered sopas and empanadas, both were super fresh, filling, and full of flavor! We also ordered some queso, and it was also delicious…and a little different than typical Mexican restaurant queso. They do charge for chips, which didn’t bother us.
While service was a little slow, our server was very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating, and I think he was pretty much running the floor by himself.
We felt the place could use a little spiffing up, but it was clean! Didn’t see anything that made me think otherwise, as some other reviewers pointed out.
Overall, a great place to visit!

This is some seriously good Mexican and Salvadorian food. We got the birria pupusa and steak enchilada – both were excellent and flavorful. Quick service. Wished we could have gotten dessert. Please give Blessing a visit!
