I’ve been going here for 25 years, 25 years ago it was amazing! Best food wver and would wait in line for an hour or more. The longer its around, the lower the quality of food. I got about 3 tablespoons of meat, kind of a bummer. The salad dressing is still really great, service is good though not like it used to be. My kids still.like it and you get pretty full coming here. Stick with the salad or the smothered burrito.

This was the first time in a long time that I had a pleasant experience going through a drive through. The young lady on the headset was very nice, helpful and thoughtful. The young man working with her was polite, engaged and working hard. I should’ve asked for their names but I got my meal at 7ish pm Sunday night and they were awesome. Terrible. The guy making burritos and salads took 5 minutes PER ORDER just to prep them to go into the oven. Another 5 minutes to fill food that was only halfway empty. 3 people in line, took 35 minutes to finally walk out.
Bizarrely, the flattest and emptiest burrito I think I’ve ever had. No cheese, they don’t let you out anything in the burrito either?? You add everything AFTER it’s sent through the oven and goes on the side – guac? On the side. Lettuce? Side. Pico or salsa? Side. Cheese? Nope, don’t get to add any cheese. The guy added maybe a teaspoon when he put the tortilla to warm up…
Salad had lettuce piled 3 inches high, with about 2 tablespoons of each ingredient (meat, beans, and rice). Yet again, no cheese.
Most bizarre experience, took longer to order and receive than a sit-down restaurant, and there was literally no one in the restaurant.
The 3 people in front me were also livid at how long it was taking.
Figure it out folks…

EDIT: Adding what the “burrito” looked like after pulling the actual food out. Measured it out – literally half a cup, no cheese. A little more than 2 tablespoons of rice, beans and pork. What a joke.

Everything was amazing. The food was amazing. The service was really good, but The dining room area was absolutely freezing. I had a jacket on my mother had a jacket on everybody in there, had a jacket on and it was still cold. They should turn the heat on.

Fast, friendly, and great quality food. The atmosphere is inviting with high energy. They sung songs and made sure I had everything for my order. They were very upbeat, fun, and energetic. The restaurant and bathrooms clean. Food was fresh and stocked. I am very picky and like to customize my order and they did this all with ease and a positive attitude. I appreciate the manager coming over to my table asking me how my experience and the quality of food was. I feel valued and respected. I will be returning to this location. Great service, thank you team!

By far the worst Cafe Rio location I’ve been to. I’ve held off for 2 years on leaving a poor review because I love Cafe Rio and hoped they could turn it around.
If you order through the app, be prepared to wait 15-20 minutes past your expected completion timeframe whether they’re busy inside or not. Don’t expect the employees to be nice, they never seem to care that you’re there. And don’t forget to bring a rag, the tables are never clean.

I did an online pickup order, and after I got home with my salad I realized it was all wrong. They just gave me a generic salad instead of what I ordered. I asked for chip strips, sour cream, and cotija cheese and got none. And I didn’t want cilantro or guacamole, but got both.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have loved Cafe Rio since I moved here but last night changed that forever. Almost an hour after eating my husband and I both began all the symptoms of food poisoning. We had to both go to Urgent Care this morning to get IVs due dehydration. Avoid this place at all costs. I will be contacting corporate.
