My adult kids love love this place—it’s their go-to over any other Japanese restaurant in the area.
This cozy little spot has around 10 – 11 tables, a mix of booths and chairs, and no outdoor seating. I’m honestly just glad to see something thriving in this building – nothing seems to stick here! My husband still sees the old Taco Bell when we pull up, but once you walk in, it’s a whole new vibe.
You seat yourself, and we were greeted right away. Our server, Mona, is a standout! If you think you’ve had good service before, think again—Mona is next-level. She remembered what two people in our party liked to drink and how they wanted their steak cooked – without them saying a word. And no, they don’t go there all the time! (Yeah right!) She’s friendly, attentive, and truly makes sure you’re taken care of from start to finish.
The menu is extensive, so give yourself a few minutes to browse. I’m a picky eater and still had no trouble finding something.
Here’s what we tried:
Pork dumplings – Fresh, hot, and delicious even without the sauce.
Japanese rice with steak – Super tender, although the steak was chopped a bit smaller than I’d prefer.
Bento box – Great if you want a variety of options.
Osaka roll – Fried with crab meat and shrimp. Looked great and good portion.
(Pro tip: ask for the spicy mayo—it’s not that spicy, but adds something extra!)
One thing to note: food comes out at different times depending on how busy the kitchen and sushi bar are. Not a long wait, just staggered. But everything is fresh, and that’s what matters most.
Prices were extremely reasonable for what you get!
All in all, we’d definitely return. We might try some different dishes next time, but the friendly service and fresh food earn Osaka two big thumbs up from us!

I just moved from the west side of Florida and have been trying to find a quality authentic sushi place. I finally found it. The sushi is cut into bite-size pieces, which is the way it’s supposed to be, so you can savor her every piece. I am a VERY picky, sushi eater, and this place meets all my expectations!! And the staff are very respectful and professional. This is my new Sushi go to!! I would pay anything for excellent quality Sushi, but the fact that the prices are relatively cheap, makes it a no-brainer. Thank you Osaka!!!

My daughter and I tried it for the first time today and everything was so delicious that she wants to come back next weekend for her birthday! We tried a few different things: jalapeño bomb, bento box, a variety of sushi, and dessert. So good! The service was also outstanding!

This restaurant is a gem that I have discovered. I don’t even want to tell anybody about it because I don’t want them to ever change or be overbooked or not be able to accommodate me but please go there and eat their food. The service is A+ plus the food is amazing. The atmosphere is lovely. Did I say the food was amazing I’m sorry that I didn’t take any photos of my food, but I ate it all before I thought about it.

Great place for a quick bite to eat. Menu is extensive and has lots of options for people that don’t eat raw fish. Sushi and sashimi are fresh! Only down side is the ramen broths are made with pork (one soy option). Ninja fruit is a surprisingly creative and tasty desert – I’d come back just for that.

Just a FANTASTIC PLACE. The people are so so sweet, and kind. The atmosphere is just breathtaking on the inside. The outside makes it seem like a hidden different world, because you would never expect the inside to feel so relaxing and cute. The prices are amazing and totally worth the LARGE amount of food you get. I would recommend just stopping by and taking a look, because if you do YOU WILL GET SUCKED INTO THIS BEAUTIFUL PLACE!

This amazing establishment never receives enough credit. We’ve been here numerous occasions and they never miss a beat. Service and food always exceeds expectations.
