Place is really, really great. Nice & fresh fish. Veggie rolls were refreshing. Definitely recommend. Nice little option for this area of NW Ohio. Beats having to drive to Cbus/Dayton. Small little location. Best probably for carryout. A few small tables within for dine-in, if necessary.

There place is always so clean i see them clean once someone leaves the table even if the person didn’t eat and was just waiting for their food. Also the prices for the food is valid for how much food they give you. I had a fantastic experience at Tokyo 212 on Defiance Street. From the moment I walked in door everything impressed me the service, the food, the atmosphere all top notch. First, the staff were warm and friendly. They greeted me with a smile, answered questions about the menu, and made sure everything was just right. As for the food absolutely delicious. The sushi rolls were fresh and beautifully plated and the hibachi options were flavorful and cooked perfectly. Each dish was well-balanced you could taste the care and quality ingredients.The place is a great spot for a date night, a family meal, or just treating yourself. The decor gives a nice modern vibe without feeling over the top. There is even side orders with good portions especially for kids or those wanting a lighter meal.
All things considered I’ll absolutely go back whether it’s for sushi, hibachi, or just a great night out. Highly recommended!!!!!

I got the steak chicken and scallop hibachi. It would have been a great value if everything else was good. The rice is okay but the noodles were extremely sweet. Sickening sweet. I got the crab rangoon unless you like dessert rangoon these were disgusting I wanted to vomit. It was that much sugar. They have a limited type of veggies they serve and I don’t think it’s worth the money. They barely gave me any. The steak was way overcooked and they don’t even ask you how you want the steak cooked. Overcooked steak is not worth any value to me. Will not be visiting again. Sadly this surrounding area does not have very good Chinese food or Japanese food. Have found better values in Lima Ohio, if anyone wants good Asian food try ginger Asian kitchen or even Mark pies. Way better food and value. Don’t know why I’m going to do with $30 I’ve left overs that I don’t want to eat. I guess you live and learn

Got California rolls and steak hibachi with added noodles. Steak was very tender and well seasoned cubes. Noodles were a little too salty but cooked well and otherwise delicious. Rice was also delicious. California rolls were good. Decent little place, I’ll definitely come back and try some more stuff.

Delicious!!! If you’re from the area, and have tried other sushi places, I will say this place is much better than the Japanese restaurant in Celina!
These sushi rolls taste fresh and delicious. I got a raw and cooked roll and both were very good. Hibachi portions are large and flavorful.
We ate in the restaurant. It only has 3 tables, so plan accordingly. But I have done take out before & it is just as good.

Honestly the best low-cost sushi I’ve had in the Midwest since leaving the Gulf Coast. The hibachi is very good, as well. Others seem to agree as the place is quite busy.

We ordered door dash and were very happy with the portions and the flavor! The only thing we were a little disappointed with was the steak was extremely chewy to the point it was very hard to eat. The chicken, noodles, rice, egg rolls and King Kong roll were all phenomenal though! We will for sure order again but will just skip the steak next time.

I understand the business is new but don’t quote times that you obviously can’t meet. Placed an order over the phone, was told 20-30 minutes, waited over an hour for the food once I even arrived. Food was decent but nothing special, they also forgot parts of my order. I probably won’t be back for some time. Hopefully with time they find their stride, but right now it’s not worth the wait.
