From the moment my family of 4 walked in, the wonderful experience began. We had five staff members assisting us with all different things and their teamwork was a dance. The chef was skillful and had a great personality. The food was was delicious. My picky 4 year old actually ate the food! My 2 year old was kept busy with the chopsticks one of the staff members brought him without even being asked. This is a family friendly establishment where you will be greeted with friendly faces and have unparalleled service that meets food quality.

We are staying at Great Wolf Lodge for my sons birthday. We came to Aki of Japan for a special dinner and it did not disappoint.
We have been to many hibachi restaurants over the years and this was one of the best. The food quality was excellent and the service level surprisingly. All the staff was friendly and attentive. Everyone worked well together as part of a great team atmosphere.
The whole staff sang happy birthday and brought out complimentary pineapple.

We ordered sashimi, filet, chicken, and a veggie dinner. The sushi was horrible, the chicken was probably the worst I have ever tried at a restaurant at this price point. The veggies were way too salty and I make better fried rice at home. The total opposite of Yuri that used to be there.

Food was good and people were nice. My only hangup was after checking my credit card statement I noticed an extra $5 was added to the credit charge after I had already signed the receipt. I had already left a 23% tip.

Forgot to take pics! I had the golden shrimp and hubby had the sushi special. New owner and it’s even better. Entrees get soup, salad, rice, stir-fry veggies AND noodles. Shrimp were tasty. A ton of food and all good. We’ll be back!

Sushi was super, and dessert was delicious! Staff was fantastic, very helpful with menu questions. Specialty rolls were spot on. The pryimid and the bomb were perfect desserts to finish with.
