Another Chicken strips fast food restaurant. Recently opened and that means the employees are in learning mode so be considerate when ordering.

The chicken strip meal gave me 3 strips, fries, Texas toast and lemonade. The chicken was good but not unique.

The quality of the chicken was evident and the lemonade was made with the right amount of tartness.

Prices are high considering what you are getting. This is like all other competitors.

The restaurant was clean and well lit. They have a drive through and plenty of parking.

Give it a try just to breakup of similar chicken strips.

So glad they finally decided to open a Raising Canes in Edison. I came at noon on a weekend and it was packed! We ordered a Caniac Combo online ahead of time and it came as expected. The chicken was warm, crispy, and extremely juicy and the fries were salted to perfection! We also received a half sweet half unsweet tea as well as coleslaw. We were lucky enough to find seats since the store was just so popular! The service was kind and efficient while the atmosphere was upbeat. Overall an amazing experience. Highly recommend!

There was a long line for opening day, but from when I ordered to getting my food was less than five minutes. I ordered the chicken fingers with Texas Toast and fries. The chicken was juicy and tender, the toast was very soft and delicious, great for dipping in Cane’s signature sauce. The fries were fries, pretty good but nothing special. The inside of the restaurant is well decorated with many local pieces of decor. Very good prices for what you get. Will be coming back often.

First time at Raising Cane’s—and here’s my honest take.

I’m usually not a big fast-food person, mostly because of the high calorie counts, but since this location just opened, I figured I’d give it a try. When I pulled up, the drive-thru line was long, so I went inside instead—and that was definitely the right move. The indoor line moved much faster.

I ordered The Box Combo, which comes with four chicken fingers, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, coleslaw, Cane’s sauce, and a 22-oz fountain drink.

Ratings:
• Chicken fingers (9/10): Really good—crispy and tender. A little more seasoning would’ve made them perfect.
• Fries (7/10): Decent but nothing special, and they were a bit cold.
• Coleslaw (7/10): Fine, but pretty basic.
• Texas toast (6/10): It’s literally just bread. Not bad, just forgettable.
• Cane’s sauce (4/10): This was the letdown for me. Too sour and not my thing.

Overall: Despite a few misses, the experience was solid, and I can see why people like it. I’d definitely come back if I’m in the mood for fast food. Overall rating: 9/10.

Very overhyped, in my opinion. The chicken didn’t really stand out and felt pretty average. The place was extremely packed, which made the overall experience a bit chaotic and messy. The sauce was just okay, nothing special. Service was good, but overall it didn’t feel worth the hype or the long crowds.

First time coming to Canes at this newly opened spot in Edison! It was so nicely decorated, as soon as you walk in, the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The inside of the store is clean and has great seating space. Food was absolutely fantastic. Definitely coming back here in the future!

Welcome to Canes.. it’s literally music to my ears. We used to have to drive almost an hour to have Canes. Now it’s opened 10 minutes from me. I have been twice since it has opened and I’m not disappointed at all.. it’s clean and the food is so delicious .. Its always hot and fresh. All of the people that work there are so friendly. Having a canes so close is like being home in Baton Rouge again.

First time trying. First the parking lot to get to the drive thru is chaotic, you got cars that are parked trying to reverse while you’re trying to get through the drive-through. I like having the two lanes so more orders can be processed quicker. But the way the speaker is positioned the cashier cannot hear you she had me repeat myself three times. Also you can’t hear because the other speakers much louder so you’re hearing other people placed their orders. Then I got to the first window and ask the lady how much the order was she told me $51 after tax so I went to go give her cash and she said no she could not take it because she was not good with cash and for me to go to the second window and that the other cashier would help me out and give me my food at the same time. I’m confused on a cashier not accepting cash because she’s not good with cash. The price of the food was too expensive considering we have other fast food areas near us that are cheaper and taste better. My take on the food is very bland there is no seasoning and the amount of french fries is just simply not enough and my frozen fries at home taste better. No one enjoyed the meal. I will stick with Dave’s hot chicken.

I highly recommend ordering online — otherwise you’ll be waiting at least 40 minutes. It’s absolute madness inside! Packed wall to wall with a line out the door, even with a drive-thru. I walked in through the exit, grabbed my mobile order, and skipped the entire line. Got a tray of 25 chicken fingers for $50! Totally worth it. There’s a reason this place stays busy… the closest one to me is in South Jersey, over an hour away!

Just visited the new Raising Cane’s and WOW — everything was amazing! The chicken was hot, fresh, and perfectly crispy, the fries were on point, and that Cane’s sauce… unbeatable. The staff was friendly, fast, and genuinely welcoming, and the place was spotless and well-run. You can tell they really care about quality and service. So happy to have a Raising Cane’s here — we’ll definitely be back again and again!
