Super friendly service! We were here for my friend’s birthday, and our server gave us both free dessert! Deep fried Oreos – they were amazing. The food was good – the fries and garlic aioli were amazing; almost better than the burger. The burger was good, but maybe not as good for the price. I did appreciate all the options!

We loved everything about this place. The food, the waitresses, the vibe…all great!!
The Elvis is a burger with peanut butter and mayonnaise. Just try it!
Don’t sleep on the fries with the house dip. I wish they sold it in to go bottles. It’s delicious! My husband and I bought 2 burgers and split them, french fries and 2 local beers. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. The drinks were fun!

The burgers here are top notch but do not include fries. If you want fries it’s an up charge of about $4. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The beer selection is very good but they only have 8 beers on draft. They have many more available in cans. It is on-street parking that you have to pay for, so that kinda sucks.

I had heard this place had some of the best burgers in Lexington. The Shocker definitely has some heat and I appreciate that. However, the food is just ok. It’s in that middle ground where you can take it or leave it. It’s definitely not worth taking your time to come downtown and find parking, just for a decent burger.

Wow! I happened to stop for a bite here. I’m so glad I did, it was my favorite place in Kentucky! Everything was fantastic. The burger was unbelievable, the cheese sauce with the fries, the beer. The service was great too. If you’re in Lexington, you have to stop here! I enjoyed it more than the expensive steakhouses and the Italian places. Worth noting too, try their JB sauce.

We had a great experience at Jack Brown’s in Lexington! The waiter was so helpful in deciding what we wanted to try. We tried two different burgers (one with peanut butter called the Elvis burger) and shared a French fry and enjoyed it all! The atmosphere was so inviting and unique.

Listen… If you haven’t tried this purveyor of humble, yet heavenly meats, cheeses, and potatoes, you have officially made bad decisions with your life, whether you realize it or not. I don’t know who Jack Brown is, or if he even exists but I can tell you this, he deserves to be regarded as a deity. And every employee staffing his wagyu beef palace should be considered a local legend, simply for contributing to stacking sustenance such that… You know what it means to feel like a kid again. If what you want is to experience a burger and fries that should be considered the 8th wonder of the world, and we both know that you do dear reader, then I emplore you not to spend one more day depriving yourself of this greasy delicacy. Being your friends… And Jack Brown’s will see to it you eat like KINGS!

The price was inexpensive. The burger was a bit bland for the description (pickles weren’t strongly vinager tasting, flavors a bit missing). The decor wasn’t my type of environment and not kid friendly (skeletons, bras on objects, F-vday sign). The servers were nice but just not my type of atmosphere.

Went for dinner and it was so good we returned for lunch the next day. Food is no frills, the way I like it. My wife was bummed they didn’t have any vegtibles, but that did not hurt my feelings. Everything is reasonably priced (including beer and soda) and the staff are very attentive. Was pleasantly surprised at the cost of things since this was located in the downtown area. My wife was intrigued with the deep fried Oreo, so they gave her one to try. Looking forward to finding more of these locations during our travels.

Cool little burger and beer place in downtown Lexington. Wildly decorated. Looks like it gets a little wild on the weekends. The Ron Swanson burger was delicious. Fries were crispy and tasty.
