Our favorite Mexican place foods not badly priced and it’s good I love they’re beans, and their carne asada is amazing. Cute little place the guy up front is a sweet heart. Sometimes their hours are a little off in the slow season but that seems to be a Manitou thing so not upset about it.

I Googled “Mexican food near me” and a few popped up. El Taco Loco had the highest reviews and some of the comments mentioned the authenticity of the flavors. I brought my five kids and we were all very happy with not only the food but also the service! This is an excellent place for delicious Mexican food and genuinely kind people. 10/10 would recommend!

Great food! It came out very quickly and was very tasty. There’s even a bathroom available for customers, which is nice in this area. The staff is great and very helpful and accommodating.

Ordered the California burrito and an horchata. Tasted like just ground beef and not carne asada. The fries in it were soggy and there was no guacamole, even though I asked to confirm that it had guacamole in it. Also there was lettuce & sour cream for some reason? Just made the whole thing kinda soggy.
Horchata was pretty good.

Customer service was fantastic! The young man at the counter was friendly & accommodating & had our meals to us within 10 minutes of ordering! Good portions, nice presentation & flavorful! Interior could use a tiny bit of sprucing up, but the colorful banners & big-screen TV made the space fun & enjoyable. My husband had nachos with a hibiscus water, while I made my tummy smile with the 2 sopes combo & MUST-TRY lemonade with spinach!

I stopped here during my wait on the wind cavern (lantern tour) the spot was a little hard to find and so was parking, it’s along the street and if you get lucky to park close it’s nice.
Ordering food was pretty easy and the wait was little to no wait at all, the food WAS DELICIOUS and felt very homemade. I got the Torta which tasted fresh and was devoured as seen in the picture. I’m from Texas and this felt like right at home, if I come back to Colorado I am making a stop here no doubt !

This tiny little place in downtown Manitou Springs already has great reviews. That’s why we chose this location, but they most definitely live up to their reviews. The food is deliciously different. This is not your average run of the mill, tasteless Mexican food. Some of the best I’ve ever eaten! The service was amazing. There was only one guy there taking care of the entire restaurant and he still did such a beautiful job.

This place is awesome! The Mexican food was bursting with flavor—definitely not bland. The service was fast and friendly, and the little store itself is full of culture. My girlfriend and I loved every bite and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic experience!

Small mom and pop mexican restaurant that had great food. Authentic, check
Good flavor, check reasonable prices, check. All around would go back if in the area. Tried the birria tacos the sauce definitely the best part, and nachos with red chile smothered burrito.
