So since I couldn’t get a ride back in and they don’t believe me that I had bugs in my food because apparently there’s just no such thing as fruit flies or whatever these kind of bugs are inside the restaurant they denied me my money back just because I couldn’t make it in, but I had proof I could email that into them and literally like do a video chat and everything if they wanted, but the fact that I didn’t have a car at the time and my ride didn’t get to my house until like 8 PM and it’s the next day. They said well oh well you never brought it into us. You can’t have your money back and this isn’t the first time I’ve ever had problems with this place. I just want everyone to see what great customer service this place actually has they don’t care what you say and even if you bring stuff in nine times out of 10, they’re probably gonna give you a store credit cause they wanna give you the food again that could potentially have bugs inside of it so good luck guys. This was my personal experience and this wasn’t the first encounter that I’ve had with this place and they still haven’t made it right.

Looked nice a and clean on the outside, not so much on the inside. We were happy to find a pizza place close to our Airbnb and a small town local place. The crust was the best part for sure, loved that! The cheese was kind of creamy and mediocre kinda like the sauce. We usually like a spicy or sweet pizza sauce this was somewhat bland but not bad. Staff was friendly

Super-friendly staff, cool decor, and delicious food! I appreciate their connection with Lake Street Family Dental, rewarding children with pizza fries certificates for taking care of their teeth.

We live over 2 hours away and this pizza is exceptional. Perfect thin crust, tasty sauce, excellent amount of cheese and spectacular toppings. Simply said, if you don’t like this pizza, there’s something wrong with you.

My wife and I love trying pizza from places we haven’t been to. We ordered a pepperoni pizza. It was delicious! The staff was super friendly and all had smiles on their face. We will be back for sure!

I only marked the atmosphere because I love old school quirky abstract vintage kind of places and I feel it could use a little face-lift. But, that’s just my brain and how it thinks. The pizza and service was great! Everyone was super nice!

Unsuspecting treasure of a pizza joint. Go down a little hall to be greeted by several super cheerful and friendly employees in an adorably kitschy little diner with a performance space (no band when I went there, sadly). $16 and 10 minutes later and I have a drink and an absolutely delicious pizza. A must go if you’re in the area.

I am absolutely astonished by the high rating of this establishment; I have never had a worse experience at a restaurant.

My family loves pizza, so we always try to find small pizzerias when we are traveling. We chose Emma’s specifically because of the rating.

There was a “Please Seat Yourself” sign at the end of a cold, dank, narrow hallway that smelled musty. The dining room looked greasy and was tackily decorated, with mismatched furniture (metal folding chairs and plastic picnic tables!!), but lots of pizzerias have a quirky vibe.

We wanted to sit in a booth, but the first was too close to the counter and we could hear the staff’s conversation (not that they were saying anything wrong). Another was taken, one had not been cleaned off. We wanted to sit in the back, but that table was broken and glued back together or something (pic), and above it was a TV on the Disney Channel really loudly for some reason. (There was a 2nd TV on the same channel up by the counter, too..) We just decided we would ask if the TV could be muted.

We sat there for about five minutes without anyone saying a word to us, so I looked around. There was a vintage cheerleader uniform hanging on the wall above the next booth, completely covered in a layer of greasy dust (pic); who would want to eat under THAT?!

Our server eventually came, and at first she said she didn’t think they could mute the TV. She went to ask her supervisor how, and came back and climbed up over the back of the booth to find the button. I said we’d like to share a pitcher of soda, and she asked if we wanted any cups, which was odd. She brought back one 16oz bottle of Pepsi and plastic cups stacked together, which she set rim-down on the table (pic). I laughed and explained we actually wanted a PITCHER, but she said they didn’t have them. There was a plastic pitcher like the kind you make lemonade at home in on one of the tables when we came in (not the NSF-rated one used by restaurants), but it was full of water, so clearly she just meant that they didn’t have fountain soda. So we ordered more bottles and asked for some ice. She came back and the cups each had a couple of those big cubes that come out of one of those individual trays you put in the freezer – not an automatic ice maker, but oh well. I just hoped the tray was clean and the ice wasn’t old – it had that white, powdery coating that ice gets when it’s really old.

We ordered a cheese pizza, hand-tossed crust, and while we waited, the server came back with some plates.. and I kid you not – they were PAPER. The Dixie kind you get for parties and picnics. (pic)

The pizza didn’t look like the pictures in the reviews (which had frankly looked like frozen pizza anyway – I had just assumed it must be very tasty to get those great reviews). The “hand-tossed” crust was too symmetrical and even to be hand-tossed. It was also very bland and flavorless, so I looked at the bottom of the crust (pic) and there was no doubt that it was store-bought.

The sauce was DEFINITELY not homemade – it tasted like Prego, which I always think is too sweet. There was way too much of it, too, so I scraped a lot of mine off onto the plate. But there was a good amount of cheese, though, and it was gooey and melty, so there’s the one good thing I have to say about it.

My daughter grabbed the parmesan shaker, but I told her to taste it first. She turned it upside down and a thick layer stuck to the bottom. She said it tasted like plastic – it did. We looked around for one at another table that looked fresher and found one.

We had over half the pizza left, and asked for a box. The waitress asked if we wanted “a big box” or “the small individual ones.” For over half a pizza. Wow.

I did tip her 25% – it wasn’t her fault that everything was completely terrible, and she was trying very hard to be a good server.

On the way out, we paid attention to everything. My daughter pointed out the light switch (pic), which was the cherry on top of the gross pie. We threw the whole (big) box away at a gas station.

…Wow. Just wow.
