Absolutely loved this place. So glad we had a chance to eat at El Rancho Mexican Restaurant. They say that they are a Yelp favorite and I see why. First time in Moorefield and hopefully not the last because O’s really love to eat here again.

We pulled in and there was nobody there. The salsa was ok, it was very watery. The only thing I liked was the sweat tea. I got a taco and beans and rice. The beef in my taco stank. The bean were questionable, the rice was horrible. The place was infested with flies. There were at least 7 flies around are table. This is the worst experience at a Mexican restaurant I’ve ever had.

This is the only Mexican restaurant in Moorefield! Not many places to choose from in Moorefield. Food was good. Service was good. We had the Texan Fajitas. It came with chips and salsa. I give this place a 6.8/10.
Second visit was an 8/10. Much better service and food. See pics. Fijitas Texanas were amazing. Lady who served us were amazing! Great customer service! Clean environment! Quick service. We walked in and our food was ready in 15 minutes.
I would definitely recommend this place if u are craving Mexican.

If you ever pass by Moorefield West Virginia, you need to come to El Rancho. First time to me, beyond my expectation. We are group of six people. I ordered El Rancho Experical II, which is grilled chicken, beef, shrimp, onion and mushrooms on top of rice with cheese sauce. It is very tasty and delicious. Just a little bit salty but I am ok with it. Other people also said that their food are good.

UPDATE 3/1/19. New mango habanero chicken wings are EXCELLENT. The homemade sauce is so good, lots of heat but lots of bits of fresh mango, too!
Excellent food and service! Always clean and friendly servers and owner. Chips and salsa are the best. Quesadilla relleno and fajitas are delicious. Ordered many items and all are good and don’t taste alike, as other Mexican food sometimes can.

And quality of food was amazing!
We had planned on it taking awhile with a large group… no hesitation in great service to us all and they made sure everyone was happy with their food!!
