O Sole Mio is a gem in Cranford! They make excellent Italian food at very reasonable prices! That’s why this place has so many regulars. The owner is so gracious and hospitable. It’s nothing fancy inside, but if you love Italian food you will love this place. They make one of best baked ziti’s I ever had! If you love baked ziti you have to order it here! The pasta pescatori is another excellent dish here to try as well. The food doesn’t come out fast so be prepared to wait, and their servers don’t speak English well so that can be a bit frustrating. It definitely doesn’t stop me from coming back to this gem. I highly recommend O Sole Mio in Cranford!

Very happy with our visit, we’ll be coming back. The place has a homey local vibe. We came by during some off hours for a late lunch. Our server was attentive and helpful when taking our orders. The owner of the restaurant came over to personally introduce himself and gave us a freebie charcuterie board. We’re so lucky. It was delicious! When the food came out we were in awe at the symphony of delicious smells from our pizza and pastas. Everything was delicious. Probably the best meal I had all week. They treated us very kindly!

Service was phenomenal. I knew we were in good hands when I heard them speaking Italian. We got a meat cheese plate and bread. The food was amazing when it came out. I got the chicken parm. The owner took time to meet and talk with everyone. There were heaters on so we weren’t cold. It made for a perfect evening. Being there, it didn’t feel like we were their customers; we felt like family.

Fabulous! You cannot find a better, authentic Italian meal. The service is excellent. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. This is truly a neighborhood gem. First time here for dinner I Love authentic Italian food and this place was top-notch I live down the shore in old bridge I went to this restaurant because of the amazing reviews and they didn’t lie. The owner Franco was professional and so attentive. He walked around just make sure everybody was happy and was enjoying the food.
