This is now going to be one of my favorite restaurants in NJ. The best middle eastern/ Mediterranean food in the state. We had: Amazing Hummus (i have high standards for hummus lol). Amazing and flavor rich stew – never had anything like it and it was so perfect. Lovely balance of flavors and the meat was perfectly cooked. Also ordered shrimp and vegetables which were so perfectly cooked and tasty. The service was superb, warm and friendly. I cant wait to come back!
Prices are also great, very reasonable. The atmosphere is very nice and elevated. Perfect for a night out or for a cozy lunch. A perfect place to get a tasty yet healthy meal.

On the second day of April, I went to this place just to have my first taste of Iranian cuisine. I had in mind to come here in honor of the National Day of Iran. I care about all countries as a Christian and as someone who loves God. This was one of my fondest memories for my first time visiting the town of Ridgewood.
Assuredly, I loved my exquisite and healthy meal; I had the Ash Reshteh (a soup), the Saffron Basmati Rice, and the Doogh Abeali (a yogurt beverage).

Wow. Came with my girlfriend and brother. Each had a lunch special. I had a Grape Leaf appetizer. Wow the. Best I’ve ever had. Very different than at a Greek restaurant. I had a fantastic experience! The food was excellent, with standout dishes like the Koobideh, Ghormeh Sabzi, and Gheimeh Bademjan—each bursting with authentic flavors and perfectly cooked. However, I wouldn’t personally recommend the Fesenjan, as it didn’t quite meet expectations.
For dessert, their Bastani and Faloodeh were absolutely delightful, offering a perfect sweet ending to the meal. The service was also a highlight! The lady who served our table was friendly, attentive, and genuinely charming.

This place was AMAZING. The wait staff was kind, attentive, and just lovely to have a conversation with. The menu had plenty of options and the waiter was kind enough to explain all of it. And of course, the food was exceptional. Tender, juicy meat. Can’t recommend this place enough. BEST PERSIAN FOOD IN RIDGEWOOD!
