Rude. I gave a tip and didn’t receive a thank you. No one said my sandwich was placed on the counter already. One of the employees, who was literally counting the tips, gave me sass when she pointed out the fact it was on the counter. I told her no one told me it was there. This happened on 7/12/25 around 2:15pm. Ridiculous, considering how peaceful of an experience the garden is.

This cafe is located inside Gibbs Garden, and it’s a convenient location if you’re visiting there for the day. There’s not many options on the menu. It’s short and simple, but I believe the options are great because they could accommodate anyone almost. As a person that eats a vegan diet, I was able to get the grain bowl (kale, quinoa, chickpeas, lime vinaigrette) without the feta cheese, and it was delicious. They also offer coffee, which was a nice addition to our lunch.

You sit outside under the trees to eat, which can be nice. They only have cold sandwiches to choose from for lunch. If you are really hungry eat before you go to see the garden. The food was good but nothing special.

Fresh made Sandwiches, bag Chips, energy bars, sweets, cold drinks (but no cups or ice), etc. You probably could eat cheaper by leaving (no carry in coolers, drinks, etc. allowed), but the sandwiches are really good, and the outdoor patio is comfortable and relaxing (even at 90°+/-, like today). This is a refreshment stand for ice cream and cold drinks (no alcohol) while visiting Gibbs gardens. Lemonade, tea and that sort of thing. Outdoor seating and picnic tables where you can sit and relax in the shade. Very pleasant.
