Food was timely,excellent and very tasty. Just getting over being sick so I got some home made chicken noodle soup, Rib eye dinner and hot tea. Everything was nice. Kudos to the cool hostess that had the Christmas Vacation t shirt on. Definitely will come in again and bring the wife next time. It’s nice to find a place you can be comfortable and enjoy a great meal. Thanks for all of your hard work there everyone.

I don’t write reviews. Ever! But there’s always the first time for everything. This place should not have only 4.3 stars. I posted my husband’s pancakes picture because by the time I thought to write a review my skillet was gone. Everything, I mean everything from service to food was 10 out 10. Carolyn was our server, efficient and friendly was her middle name. There’s not many good breakfast places in the area and we are definitely coming back!

We haven’t been here in years, maybe decades. The service was fine, but the food sucked. I got the goulash. It must be vegetarian because there was literally NO meat. Just bland pasta with stewed tomatoes. It was gross. My wife got the chicken stripe or should I say chicken leather. I’m pretty sure I’ll die of old age before I ever go back.

For a family restaurant, this place did not have a welcoming atmosphere. I went here with my niece for lunch. The service was very poor as our waitress Annadelia was very inattentive. She constantly walked away and we sat for quite some time before she actually came and took our order. My niece had to use the restroom, but was unable to as many waitresses in the restroom were occupying the stalls. Our waitress was among one of these girls. They were very loud and obnoxious, and the room was full of smoke. All in all, we will not be returning here. I am very disappointed in this place. I used to come here all the time as a kid, and the difference in management has truly made this place unrecognizable.

I have been getting the Muenster cheese Nachos here for over 35 years. It’s by far the most nostalgic food Im able to eat whenever I’m craving it. A shame that it always seems dead whenever I go in for my takeout. Even so the staff are always kind, helpful, and consistent.

Love the food here!! The fish dinner is one of the best in the area. Prices are about $17 for a 2 piece fish dinner but ypu get 3 sides with it and even garlic toast. Protions are huge. Menu has a ton of different options. Very quite inside. Lots of parking available and always have a seat open, lots of booths.

Update I stopped going they changed owners probably in the last year and the costs are outrageous now even if u don’t order eggs used to be me and my family’s fav spot but it’s almost $40for 2 ppl it’s crazy

I wish I could give this place less than one star. The service was practically nonexistent from the moment we walked in. It took 15 minutes just to get water and another 20 minutes before anyone took our order. When our food finally came out, it was cold. We asked for it to be redone, and the staff acted like it was an inconvenience.
If you’re in the food and service industry, you need to care about your customers — that’s how you keep people coming back. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case here. Between the poor service and low food quality, I won’t be returning. There are plenty of better options in Waterford. Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if this place doesn’t last much longer if things don’t change.
