Stopped in at Jillian’s Coney Island while passing through Kimball and was pleasantly surprised! The service was top notch , friendly, fast, and attentive from the moment we walked in. You can tell the staff genuinely care about their customers. The restaurant itself was very clean and well-kept, which made for a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.
The food was solid and came out quickly, just what you’d hope for at a Coney Island. Definitely a great spot to grab a casual bite.

The food was not good, except for the pancakes. They made chicken strips hard and dry. Fries undercooked. Gyro was the worst I have had. The place is run down and sticky. Inattentive servers even when there was only one other table.

I had take out and have dined in. It is an average diner that is exceptionally clean. The food is pretty average diner food, simple and comforting. I’m not a fan of the chili on the chili dog, which has to do with growing up with a totally different type of chili dog. The hot dog had a nice snap. I know they mentioned something about it being a special kind. I also had a gyro. I’m a big Mediterranean food lover, so it seemed average.
What makes this a place to return to is the staff. They are exceptional, which leads me to believe the owners are really great ppl to create a culture in which all the staff are motivated to provide excellent service. It seems like it would be a great environment to work in.
I will return just to enjoy the happy vibes.

My friend and I met at Julian’s with the ninja wait staff. Senior menu. Good food. Fair prices. Any time they have parma crusted white fish I get it. Big portion of fish and tasty.

Enjoyed some good food here and it came quick! Ordered the mozzarella sticks by recommendation from a friend and they were definitely a favorite. Also ordered the Smelt dinner with fries and salad. I tell you everything came out within 5 minutes I was amazed! Priced well, I will be sure to be back next time in town!

Wait time was not bad especially for the quality of food. We ordered a Reuben and a Gyro. Highly recommend both sandwiches. Definitely a great atmosphere and i love the interior. This is a great spot!

Visit here often for lunch. Not a fan of their sausage gravy. Normally pretty good service but everyone has an off day. Would definitely recommend to others to give it a try
