Our story began in 2008 inside a 160sq ft drive – thru in Beaverton, Oregon. Founded by family, rooted in hospitality, and driven by a desire to bring light to the grey PNW mornings, we set out to build something simple but meaningful – a place where coffee could fuel connection.

Pretty decent coffee. I’ve tried the Americano both hot and iced. I think this is the only good coffee place on the Austin bypass highway. Drive thru is pretty fast. Cool ambience. Can’t wait to try their beans in my espresso machine.

We had drinks only. One Blended Carmel Truffle (regular size) & a blended Latte
(regular size). My usual order is the tasty truffle. Which is more sweet. The hubby tried a new flavor today. (Blended Latte) He said you can taste the coffee. If you like it strong’ its a good choice. He usually gets the Blended Iced Blackout. A easy order and quick service in drive thru. Prices good and with generous variables of different selection choices. We like having those options. Sometimes a long drive thru line. But don’t panic, the team get you through quickly and efficiently. We’re glad we have them in our neighborhood.

Great little coffee spot. I ordered in person and talked to the barista. I normally drink black coffee, but I wanted to try something new. She recommended the Mexican Mocha. I asked how sweet it was and she said it was sweet. I told her to cut the sugar in half (since I don’t like overly sweet coffee). My drink was very tasty, but it was still too sweet.
All in all, I am happy and if I am ever in the area again, I would come back.

Black Rock was really good when it first opened. I used to go every other day, but I’m so disappointed now. They run out of tacos that are supposed to be available ALL day and WHIP CREAM (hear me out). I’m waiting 5 minutes at the window excited for my drink that was already paid just for them to hand me my drink and say that they’re out of whip cream and if I would I still want the drink.. THAT I PAID FOR ALREADY… Rewind the times because this is NOT IT.

The butter croissant was excellent.
We had an unflavored/ unsweetened ice latte drink and caramel latte. The espresso has a good balanced flavor. The sweetened drink was pleasant, not overwhelmingly sweet like some near by competitors.
I will be back to try more.

I’ve worked from here before when my Internet was out at home and I really appreciate that they don’t mind that. The people here are quite nice! I had minus a star on the food because the croissant was so crumbly and made a huge mess.

The coffee beans themselves aren’t very good. But this is the spot to bring friends and get your dessert coffee experience on. Such a cool vibe and all kinds of cool sweet treat coffees for the choosing. The Fuel energy drink was good too. Tasted like red bull.

The music was uncomfortably loud inside. So loud you would have to raise your voice to have a conversation.
There’s a decent amount of parking available. Prices are a little high for what you get. There’s free Wi-Fi if you need it. The drive-thru line can get a little busy at times, but the staff are excellent so it moves fast.
It could be better if they lowered the music volume and the prices. As is, it’s just ok.

We were visiting our Son in Texas from California. He took us to this coffee shop, it’s local he said. The place was clean, the service was quick. I’m not a heavy coffee drinker, to me the coffee is okay.
